Driades Apartments is a small attractive complex in a quiet position within the pretty and picturesque village of Piskopiano. It is just 150 metres to the many bars and tavernas in the centre of Piskopiano and the centre of Hersonissos is a 20 minutes walk downhill from the apartments. These apartments will appeal to families and couples looking for quiet accommodation in a scenic hillside location above Hersonissos. The apartments have an inviting pool and sun terrace and are popular with British holidaymakers and are ideal for a relaxed holiday in Crete. Get to our pool, take a dive and get you refreashing drink with the beautifull sightseeing. Your children will play in the children's pool and will enjoy their ice cream in the snack bar near the pool. If you come with your car or you hire one to escape to the beautifull Cretan beaches and villages, a large parking is available for you. In Driades Apartments, you will meet the authentic Cretan hospitality with people which will be always ready to serve you. The Driades Apartments are ideal for a relaxing vacation in Crete.

Excellent location for families and accommodation
Reviewed By RoufnchoudhuryWe went for 10 days and stayed in a spacious 2 bedroom with a massive balcony and views of the beauty sea and mountains. The accommodation was perfect; clean, safe and very spacious. The staff were extremely hospitable and the manager/owner, Anna, was so kind and helpful. The villas are set against the backdrop of wonderful mountains and in a peaceful residential area called Piskopiano. It’s a stones throw away from the picturesque village called Koutouloufari - there you’ll find boutique shops, a diverse range of excellent restaurants and more. The villas have access to 2 pools and 2 bar/restaurants. You really will not be disappointed - we had a magical time with our 3 kids. I have attached pictures of both Piskopiano and Koutouloufari Village.

Lovely small and friendly
Reviewed By jimbZ9475LYJust spent 10 nights here with my wife and our friends. We booked the two top floor apartments and they were fabulous. Very spacious and airy with a small kitchenette providing enough equipment for making breakfast and lunch. We had large private balconies with sunbeds and a dining table and chairs. The location is down a hill just a few minutes from the old Greek villages of Piskopiano and Koutouloufari with loads of tavernas and bars to choose from. The bar attached to the apartments is open from breakfast until 2am run by owners Dmitrios and Michael for whom nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend

A 2 minutes à pied du centre de piskopiano, 10 de koutouloufari. La propriétaire des lieux et sa fille sont très sympas et toujours prêtes à rendre service, fruits offerts tous les jours. Seul hic, Wi-Fi très faible . Je reviendrais sans hésiter. Merci encore

Reviewed By Cretelover2019I was very troubled before i booked, reading negative reviews and seeing the photos. But the price offer was extremely good. So i took my chances..... I was greeted by friendly staff at the Amazones Village. They helped me checking in and nothing was too much trouble. They offered me a welcome drink while they were busy with the passports. They took me down to the annex and i came across to a small but very Cretan little hotel. It was like going back in time... I had an apartment on the second floor with full sea view. Beautiful olive trees on the front, very quiet and peaceful. Room is basic but there is a hairdryer, flat screen tv, safe, a small kitchenette with dining place and a small fridge. I slept so very good and every day my room was clean and tidy. I did not mind the short walk for breakfast and dinner because the little village is so awesome, that it is nice to walk round and about. There is even a small museum close to the villa sun!I knew that I did not book a 5 star suite, so I was pleasantly surprised with what I received. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for! I will return back because I enjoyed the peace of this place.

Beautiful place
Reviewed By P7420LFsarahbJust recently returned from a 10 day holiday. These apartments are lovely, really nice rooms, very clean and everything you need. The pool was immaculate, as was the grounds. Manos and Orla are the best hosts and so welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay here again, and will be back to visit in September although not staying in this resort unfortunately. We couldn’t go back to Crete without popping in to say hi. There is a little supermarket directly over the road which opens early to late, the shop keeper is lovely. Would 100% recommend the Frida Village Apartments.

Charming apartments
Reviewed By DavidFoxJust returned from these charming apartments set quite high above Piskopiano. First off, these apartments are not suitable for those with walking difficulties as the climb from Piskopiano is quite steep. Also, anyone looking for high spec accommodation will also be disappointed as the apartments are quite old (1993). What you will get is a charming apartment with superb views over Hersonissos and the sea beyond. The pool is quiet and there are plenty of beds (for most of our week we were the only people by the pool). Piskopiano has a plethora of excellent restaurants to choose from but our favourite was Gevsi. The owner, Nikos, is very friendly and helpful. Room tips, 1,2,8 and 9.
