if you like pasta, they are the bests in Pilar,homemade al dente, lasagnas fettuccines ravioli and much more, very good sauce peacefull place not noisy.good service.place to park.in the other hand is expensive

I had the possibility to get a seat with my business partners for having dinner there. The restaurant looks typically American style and they have a great service. Food was excellent and for me with outstanding quality, more than I have expected. Good selection for having dinner with friends, family or for business.

I made the reservation while still in the states via email...very easy! The restaurant is in an old house, turned into a restaurant...Antiques abound....lovely ambience....food was spectalular!
Service was very good except we did have to wait quite a long time for the check and asked 3 times..I thought maybe they wanted to give us a free dinner....! All in all if I lived nearby I'd be a regular! If you are going on the weekend make a reservation or be prepared to wait as many were doing.... Very Happy!

Un lugar muy elegante y con muy buena comida. Quizas un poco caro, pero bueno, se nota mucho la calidad de los ingredientes y dedicacion del Chef. Recomendo el Pulpo.

If you want to eat meat like the Argentinians do, this must be your #1 choice... Really good meat, awesome salad tables, free meals (eat as much as you can, for the same price!) and mineral water, and 1 litre (33.81 US Oz. or 1.76 UK pints) of soft drink or beer per person. Free chips (french fries), and empanadas (meat pies)... You're going to out the premises rolling, instead of walking! Great atmosphere, and the place is really big!

We went to 1888 for lunch and were pleasantly surprised to find out they have very good food 60 kms away from the city in the tint town of Manzanares. Nice place and tasty seafood.

This restaurant is located in a very nice place, but it has a couple of cons: 1) the place is too noisy; 2) It is indeed quite expensive, taking in consideration that it is a mainly pasta restaurant; 3) If you're planning to go on a National Holiday or during the weekends without reservation, at peak time (say, between 9:00 and 11:00 PM, for example), you'll have to wait for a quite a long time...
