Found this place on a very rainy day and popped in for a snack.Noticed people coming from a place out the back and asked if they had a restaurant and they happily showed us around went back for an evening meal a couple of nights later and had a lovely meal,Thanks for being so friendly and putting up with my terrible Portuguese.

Experimentei ir a este restaurante, pela primeira vez, num almoço de família e achei simplesmente maravilhoso. Adorei tudo o que comi. Experimentámos a picanha (das melhores, se não a melhor que já comi), o ensopado de enguias que estava delicioso e, por fim, o arroz de miscaros super rico, cheio de sabor lembrando o Outono num prato. O atendimento esteve à altura da comida e todo o espaço. Irei voltar certamente.

Had the "alheira" with eggs on a bed of greens for starter. This was excellent. I do recommend. Next the "bacalhau na telha". The cod was wonderful. To finish a nice chocolate mousse. For what we order, I cannot but recommend the food.
The restaurant is in a hotel on a cliff overseeing the river valley. Even on a cloudy day the view was very peaceful and inspiring. We were lucky that there was just another table being served. The meal was extremely pleasant.

Visita anual na época da lampreia, que não sendo extraordinária não envergonha ninguém. O atendimento é muito simpático e o serviço rápido. Uma boa relação preço qualidade.
