When you live in the DR, and you have a business, you are entitled to ask for an official receipt to substantiate the 18% sales tax. This restaurant provides a hand-written receipt, charges the 18% tax, and refuses to give an official receipt.
Receives a 2 because you can't beat the view, otherwise I would give a 1 just because of the unsavory business practice. Food was acceptable. And honestly, lobster prices are at touristic prices at $800 pesos per pound. You can buy them in the area for 200 pesos per pound. I live in Punta Cana and that's toursit trap pricing.

If you are planning to visit Bahia de las Aguilas in Cabo Rojo, Dominican Republic, one of the wonders of nature of the world, right at the entrance of the park you will find Rancho Tipico Cueva de las Aguilas, a typical restaurant full of willingness to serve and help you enjoy the visit to this paradise. Santiago and his team are ready to put together whatever you need to make your stay pleasant no matter how long will be. Ours was just for the day and we departed in one of his boats to see the rocky peaks first and then finish in the beautiful beach of Bahia de las Aguilas, In a particular area of this 7 kilometers large beach Santiago's team set for us a table, beach chairs, hammocks, ice coolers, and a floating bar for our enjoyment, and at a particular time the boat came back with a sea food feast that was extraordinary. The water is 3 to 4 feet deep for close to 60 meters, and we did some snorkeling while we were there with equipment supplied by Santiago. It was an incredible experience, and when the boat came back to pick us we were sad for leaving that paradise. The price for the package was really good and we were not able to eat all the food that was served. We will go back for sure.

una accurata selezione di ingredienti ha permesso la creazione di piatti italiani ai caraibi , una buona lasagna , un piatto di gnocchi fatti a mano o fettuccine all'uovo fatte in casa con arte e passione. il locale e'pulito ed i cibi vengono tutti preparati al momento , ristorante a gestione familiare a prezzi economici ( rispetto allo standard dei prezzi dei ristoranti italiani dell'isola)

We were there with friends after the boat cruise to bahia de las Aguilas beach. We were not sure where to go for lunch and we ask Fabio the Manager what he had to offer. From a simple answer I ve already understood the experience he had and I ve to say I was right!
The Octopus and Lambi was delicious, the lionfish was simply the best I never had, see the photo attached, big and very tasty! the ambient was very relaxing and unique.
Fabio the manager knows very well how to attend clients and make all of us satisfied!
I can only recommend this place, the price as well was very good!!!
