Brilliant room it it had more storage and didn't smell of sewage
Reviewed By Michelle GLovely well cared for and immaculately cleaned rooms with large comfortable beds and quality bedding. Everything in the room worked well with some lovely touches. Coffee,tea,water, soft drinks and wine provided on arrival. Lovely patio area which although small was very pleasant with table and chairs. Small clothes airer out on balcony however this didn't really get the sun so struggled to dry clothes particularly as our weather wasn't very good. The bathroom however although smartly fitted and containing plenty of extras was very small and you couldn't really move in the shower or shut the door if on the toilet. Our main concern was the smell of sewage which was very strong throughout our room and despite the cleaners best efforts to disguise the smell it couldn't be hidden. We had plenty of rainy weather whilst in the Sporades so maybe this was the issue and the drainage system couldn't cope but the smell really was very, very unpleasant. Safe in room but not bolted down. Evi was pleasant and helpful and the Wifi worked well generally. Would we stay here again, no probably not due to the smell in our room, however other rooms may not have had the same issue. Michelle & Mike

Fabulous stay at Ifigenia House!
Reviewed By Picklelily75Wow! The house was lovely - exactly what we needed for a family of 5. Enjoyed many a G&T on the terrace whilst playing cards with the kids. The accommodation was spotless, very comfy beds, equipped kitchen, huge shower and the washing machine was a god send! Giota is an absolute sweetheart and always around to help. Would recommend 110% and hope to go back one day!

lovely pool and stunning sea views
Reviewed By Colly MSpotlessly clean, best air con of the holiday, gorgeous sea view from the double studio at the top of the building. Lovely pool across the road,easy walk to range of supermarkets and lovely bakery. Nice, family run accommodation, it's basic but has most of the things that you need for a perfect stay. A s per most Greek accommodation it is a little dated and probably needs a little moderisation, but it's still an ideal place to explore the island of Alonissos. Perhaps some more furniture on the huge terrace would be good such as sun loungers, as the space is not really used to its full advantage. We were here for 3 days. Disliked nothing at all. Only thing to be aware of is that it's about 15 mins walk from the port and very uphill so be prepared if you've got luggage

Wonderful island hospitality!
Reviewed By Anna FIf there is one thing I regret about our stay in Mahi Studios is not staying longer! The studios were spotless clean, large enough to accommodate a family of 3 and had great views. The studios are located next to Roussoum beach, in my opinion the best most relaxing beach in Alonissos. We preferred to swim in Roussoum for the entire 3 days we stayed on the island as we found it less crowded. The owners of Mahi studios also run a restaurant on Roussoum, the food of which is delicious (try the traditional cheese pie!). The owners, two brothers, have been very hospitable to us picking us up and taking us back to the port. We'll be visiting again for sure, next time for at least a week!

The jewel of Patitiri port
Reviewed By Anastasia TThe place is situated right opposite the small and sweet port o fPatitiri, in an amazing way that makes you feel you are on a boat that does not move! I mean, the location is simply unique. And so is the view. Different at day and night. At night is the total psychedelia, with all the lights of all colours of the port shops and houses and the boats. And full of pine trees and some rocks around. And the sea, the magnificsent Argean Sea. And you are right in the middle! The studio absolutely clean and spacy, all cotton linen, 1 double bed plus 1 big sofa to accomodate 4 people easily. 3 studios in total, big garden, many terraces, quite, the cikades all around you tzitzitzitzi all day, the lighthouse nearby, no neighbours (!!!), many trees and Mme. Voula, the owner, to absolutely take care of you in any possible way. Amazing lady, hyper clean and polite and helpful, she even took us to a nearby spot, rocky little beach with a cave, fantastic, and she collected on the spot some huge wild capers for us and a lot of high quality very green kritama (green plant growing on the rocks of aegean greek islands, tastes great after a little boiling, perfumed taste, as a green salad, add olive oil, salt and lemon). The road to Studio Voula is from Patitiri to Marpounta, turn left, before the camping, there are signs anyway, and go all the way. Very good value. Kitchinette there for you. Very good vibes place, always with a little wind, cool and zenith of hospitality! Quality construction. Free entertainment in some evenings from the bars right opposite at Patitiri, with a variety of 70s disco and more. One could do perfect boatspotting from here, no kidding. We wish to stay as long as possible and definately come back asap.

Amazing hospitality
Reviewed By jsong7972I was very happy with my room - it was on the end, it was the largest one I had during my island-hopping trip and it felt quite spacious. I had a very warm welcome from my host and, upon leaving, they waited with me until my transfer arrived. In fact, they were fine with my staying an extra night as I was stranded on the island because no ferries were able to dock because of the wind. I think the only down side were that 1) I couldn't figure out how to take a shower without the benefit of a shower curtain and without flooding the floor, and 2) it was a 10 minute walk to the restaurants. But that was a small price to pay for such lovely accommodations & amazing hospitality

Perfect location
Reviewed By ROY YThe welcome is so warm and genuine, you really cant expect more for the price. The apartments clean and spacious with views out to sea and just a walk down the steps before being in the port. Yes they are a little bit piecemeal in the way the are put together, tv very small and placed amongst unlevel switches on the walls but hey who wants tv on such a quaint island. Comfortable, clean and affordable would recommend to anyone on a budget.

The perfect stay
Reviewed By M2mmfAngelos is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel itself is obviously his pride and joy and he wants all guests to have the perfect stay. The location is right in Patitiri Town so easy for all bars and restaurants. The accommodation itself is everything you would want it to be very clean, modern design and all amenities down to the nespresso machine and the fabulous swing chair on the balcony.

Reviewed By Victoria SThis is a little gem for those that want to holiday on Alonissos. It is very clean and friendly and the view is fabulous. Close to everything; the nearest beach is just a few minutes away, there are lovely little shops and from the harbour you can easily access the rest of the island by taxi or bus. Would highly recommend!
