Reviewed By perry pWe stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area pleasant stay staff are very nice and speak good English. The room was clean and large. Breakfast was included and nice too. We had our small dog with us and the staff and owners were very kind and loved our little fur child. Thank you we will stay here again.

Great ASQ stay and friendly staff!
Reviewed By Leonie MMy friend and I just finished our 2 week quarantine stay at The Idle Residence asq and had a really good experience. Before arriving in Thailand we were nervous and quite dreading being stuck in a room for 14 days but we are so glad we chose this hotel. Stayed in a deluxe room which is big and modern with a spacious balcony where we could put the small table and chairs to sit on and we had a nice pool view. We could also sunbathe in the morning. The bed is massive and there is a sofa and big tv and the room had controlable aircon. They provided us with a Netflix account and the wifi worked great the whole time. The staff were so friendly and extremely attentive, they provided us with anything we needed immediately and also delivered 7-11 orders. The food was great, a different menu choice every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was also room service available with different Thai and western options. We had a big refrigerator to keep our drinks cold, a microwave to reheat our meals and a kettle with complimentary tea and coffee on arrival. They picked us up front the airport and put our bags in our room for us while we checked in smoothly. They also include a free transfer after your stay to anywhere within 70km. The whole experience was very pleasant and couldn’t recommend it enough for a great and smooth asq stay. :)

Home stay is not for me.
Reviewed By Go2LookI stayed her because it was close to my girlfriends work and so it would be easier for her to go to work and come back. Even the host family were quite friendly it felt like invading a private home (as it is). After the British man made a breakfast to me without a T-shirt and while sweating I said it was not necessary with breakfast. Even i had payed for it. There is absolutely nothing to do in the nearby areas. I walked around for hours and searched internet but all I found was a zoo for kids and a wire wakeboard club. If you consider to stay in this area I will recommend spending more money in a taxi and stay another place. I will never come back to this area.

Sleep in the car
Reviewed By Stephen MWe were going to this area for the first time and my companion picked it out nine. I should have been suspicious based on the name but didn't give it much thought. It's an awful place better suited for those romantically inclined . A full wall mirror, a clear glass door to the toilet, flashing lights under the bed, ( a first for me) and an air conditioner, ( at least there was one) , that didn't respond to the remote and went on and off noisily all night long. The most exciting aspect was the pounding on the door a few times during the night. When we looked nobody was there, thank god. There isn't even a proper office. Rather we were met by a rough looking fellow who collected our money before we got out of the car and demanded a deposit in order for us to retain our room key, which only worked with much effort.
