Nice restaurant.Too many tables, that makes the restaurant a little too un-personal. Service is efficient, professional and helpful. Food is pretty good and the value for money is excellent. Planken Wambuis is close to the woods, this makes it a great place to hike first and dine afterwards (be sure to make a reservation).

Went here with a big group. The fact that there is big sign in the same colors of a traffic sign saying "3 course menu for 29€" says everything. Place is very noisy and full due to the price. Service is very amateur. And the food was ok, but nothing remarkable. Not returning soon... Pity.

't Pannekoekhuis (the name in the listing is not completely correct) serves Dutch pancakes with a twist. They offer the typically Dutch sweet and savory style pancakes, and pancakes with more daring toppings. We liked the Alaska with lox and cream cheese, Peanut with chicken and satay as well as the Stroganoff with pork in a savory sauce.
Do not expect haute cuisine here. Just good food, and weather permitting, enjoyed on the nice outside Seating. Good spot for a hearty dinner after a day outdoors in the Hoge Veluwe national park (the entrance of which is about 1 km from the restaurant).

We arrived rather late on a Sunday evening and the restaurant's Terrace - which is nicely situated, in a tranquil spot at the forest edge - was quite empty, however, we were welcomed by a friendly waitress and received the best possible service.
Ok, it's not cheap, but you wan't be disappointed. The food they serve is perfectly cooked, well-presented and of the best quality.
This all added up to a wonderful experience, we will definitely come back here some time.

When we arrived, the only other customers were at the bar. We were a little hesitant about ordering a meal, but we shouldn't have worried. I had some great spareribs and my husband had a satay. These came with two kinds of potatoes, beets, and a salad-more food than we could eat. Prices were okay for a tourist town and service was very pleasant and helpful.

This self-service restaurant is located in the centre of the Hoge Veluwe National Park, next to the Kroller-Muller museum. There are a lot of seats of outside which on a warm day will be full of people. The restaurant has several sandwiches and some warm menus. We ate a Sandwich (which costed 6 euros, in a supermarket it wouldn't even cost 1 euro) and a pancake with bacon. The pancake with bacon costed €7,50 but tasted very good so I didn't regret chosing this one. A bottle of water for more than €3 is too expensive, almost stealing!
Overall the quality and taste of the food was good (especially the pancake) but I think they should lower their prices. The entrance to the park is €8,40 so if you are with a big group this can turn into an expensive day.

We stopped in here on the way to our hotel (see my other reviews) and in retrospect were really glad we did. The food was great, the ambience inside was nice and I especially enjoyed the big bowl of cherries that I had for dessert. Good wholesome food. Try the Veluwe stew - my husband was in 7th heaven!

We are not very proficient in the Dutch language, and the wait staff were all friendly and very helpful in English. The menu has the standard Dutch-Belgian fare, with some Asian-flavored dishes based on noodles. We ordered frankfurters off the children's menu. Everything was fresh-tasting. The french fries were excellent. Soft ice cream for desert. As is often the case in this area, no credit cards accepted, only Dutch check cards/debit cards.

Het Koetshuis has a very good reputation, and it certainly lived up to that when we visited. The atmosphere is lovely, it's quite relaxed despite being a fine-dining experience. The food is excellent, but just not my sort of thing. I prefer simple food, this is anything but. It's carefully crafted with a lot of ingredients. Also I'm vegetarian and then the menu options were quite limited, but they were very accommodating and made me a main course that wasn't on the menu. The Terrace outside is simply lovely in the summer. The wine selection is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I got a 6 course dinner at this restaurant as a birthday present. It is the oldest Michelin starred restaurant (1*) in the Netherlands. It was absolutely fabulous. Over the years we have visited Michelin starred restaurants in the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, France and the U.K., but chef Tonny Berentsen is absolutely one of the best. The wine selection with the different courses was perfect. Absolutely worth a visit (even a special trip). The restaurant is connected to the 4* Bilderberg hotel Klein Zwitserland.
