It is most certainly the best restaurant I've ever had the pleasure to have lunch/dinner in. Located in the hilly Valgamaa County in Southern Estonia, the restaurant is guaranteed to have a marvellous and close to nature atmosphere. The whole menu is absolutely delicious and...MoreDear, Sander! It is rally nice to hear those nice words. We are trying to do our best and always give some extra also for our guests. A pleasant pub with better than average pub grub. We enjoyed a reasonably priced dinner in this pub on the town square. Beer was excellent and food good--pastas and salads. Lots of locals getting food to go and a mix of locals and sport tourists (town is an athletic training camp) dining in.

The name of the pub celebrates the legend, according to which Otepää got its name from a hill shaped as a bear’s head, in old Estonian ’head of Ott’. Oti pub was opened in the autumn of 2001. Tasty food, pleasant service and stylish interior design are the elements attracting people. We have organised two different rooms for our guests. Oti pub is two-storied and each guest will find a table to their taste. In summer there also are the lower and upper open Terrace, which gives a wonderful view to the central square, historic Town Hill and the old church. The lower Terrace brings you straight to the wonderful local outdoors. In winter, at our high season, with the snowy magnificent landscape, different ensembles perform and give you a chance to dance. With winter sports as a priority, big competitions will not be missed on the big screen. You can witness the olympic triumphs!Leisure activities include billiards and card games. The free WIFI enables to surf the internet and maybe complete urgent tasks.
Visited this central pub quite late for a pizza and some beer. The pizza was large, but really quite bad (I do not which one I had though :)), not recommended at all, but it will fill your stomach nevertheless. And despite the excellent craft beer Estonia has been blessed with lately, they only had mainstream crap.

l.u.m.i. is a cultural cafe in Otepaa where you can sate your appetite literally and figuratively. You will enjoy live music, poetry recitals, theatrical Performances and more. The interior design is based on the building's age (it is 50 years old) - even the chairs have their own story to tell. The watercolours adorning the walls add to the astmosphere. The menu was put together by Indrek Kivisalu, chef to the Estonian president. In addition to tea and coffee you can try freshly baked buns and pastries. There is also a children's corner where the little ones can colour in, play board games or read books. Everyone is welcome!
The best food in region. Even Better than GMP :)
Nice atmosphere, good facilities for kids. We tried 4 different dishes and everything was delicious: pancakes w ham/cheese, lamb salad, salmon salad, chocolade cake. Plus cocacola, juice, beer. All in total 20€.
We will come again!

Edgar Tavern is a popular and well-loved eatery in the city centre. There is hearty and delicious food on the menu. The tavern uses the products of Edgar Meat Industry and its own bakery. The complex also includes a shop and guesthouse.
The place is very simpel, small and not fancy. But meals are like your grandmothers dishes from the past. Everything is good, coffee is excellent. Service is average, but good taste weighting over ...

The delicious food, elegantly laid tables and pleasant service at the hotel's à la carte restaurant are guaranteed to make you feel good. We are currently the only officially recognised provider of organic food in Estonia. In summer, you can enjoy the delicacies offered by our chefs on the Terrace and admire the magnificent views of Lake Puhajarv.
Pühajärve Spa has two dining places, restaurant is open on Friday and Saturday, and Pub. We visited the Pub. Due to the weather we sat outside withe wonderful view of the lake. I strongly recommend the house wine, which comes from Chile, both red and white, very smooth and tastes wonderful. It seems that pub and restaurant have the same kitchen, so food tastes more like restaurant one.

We offer 17 different thin crust pizzas in two sizes. You can add any toppings you like. We will cook your pizza for you in about 15 minutes if there is no queue. You can also pre-order your pizza.
With a friendly smile and good service you get a uniquely great tasting pizza if you don't spoil the taste with tomato sauce . It doubles as a bar so you can hang around after your pizza for some drinks and some music.

The restaurant does not have a fixed menu. We prepare our food using fresh seasonal products, which is preferably of local origin. We have been influenced by Estonian and European cuisine, but you will also find subtle hints to cuisines from further corners of the world. Check out our wine cellar and you will find something to enjoy on its own or with your food.
Simple yet beautiful location not far from town Otepää. Owner-chef-host takes good and personal care of every single person and if one clicks with him and the atmosphere it will be the dinner to remember. And most of all, foods are delicious, not simple farm food but true gourmet that is good to look at and tastes as good as it looks. One never knows what to expect as there aint any fixed menu and chef provides according to the best produce and inspiration that he has.
Ps. Need to book prehand!
