Reviewed By marggeABiking through Puglia this palazzo was a haven. It was beautiful. The women of the family were very gracious and they have done a stunning job updating their casa. The room was large, elegant and we had a lovely porch overlooking what will soon be a stunning yard and pool (they are still constructing it, Covid slowed things down.). The breakfast was delicious, the shower pressure wonderful, the place was very clean and the bed unbelievably comfortable. It is very close to the main Piazza so walking through the white city is very easy.

Reviewed By Paige SBeing a working B&B or “hotel” means people need to be present and communicate. We arrived to one woman who spoke no English whatsoever- & never even attempted to try- who handed us a whole ring of keys and then proceeded to leave the premises without telling us. The entire place was empty. Not one other guest or employee in the entire compound. It would have been relaxing if it wasn’t so terrifyingly creepy. The owner never showed up, we weren’t able to have the opportunity to order any of the amenities, the pool was closed over a week early, the list goes on. We decided to leave before the first night because we felt so uncomfortable. It would have been a beautiful stay if we could have had more communication about being alone or if we were able to have access to any of the amenities that were supposed to be provided the opportunity to buy such as dinner or drinks or the spa rooms.

Very good bedroom, very very friendly family, perfect wifi and very nice breakfast with surprises every day. The place is beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed it. Reviewed By NikolayD18The B&B is charming as rooms and courtyard. The breakfast is typical Italian. Most of the sweets are cooked by the hostess and her daughter. The host (Giovanni) and his daughter speak very good English. So, everything was nice and we felt like home. But the most valuable part for us was their advises where to go for food and drinks, beach and sea side or landmarks. We were there for 10 days and when we follow their recommendations for a restaurant - it was so delicious! When we made a choice by ourselves - a disappointment.

La nostra camera,"Il melograno", è arredata con cura e con gusto mantenendo le caratteristiche tipiche della Città Bianca: soffitto con pietra a vista, segni degli antichi che costruirono le loro case scavando nella roccia. Nella doccia, ad esempio, un bellissimo sedile ricavato da uno scavo, appunto, nella roccia. Enorme letto comodissimo, frigorifero ricco di bevande, comprese due bottiglie di ottimo vino. Sopra tutto, comunque, la straordinaria ospitalità di Ezio, anzi Eziano, prodigo di consigli su tutto, ristoranti, monumenti, spiagge. Gentile e premuroso si è trasformato in portabagagl all'arrivo e in partenza! Assolutamente fantastico! Torneremo.

Manuela prepared cappuccinos for us every morning. The room we stayed in was perfect. The shower was great and our bed was very comfortable! The road leading to the house is very easy to find. It was great having a place to park with a gate too for security! Ostuni is a perfect town and we loved heading there for dinner while staying here. It's a 5 minute drive to the old town of Ostuni from here. Don't forget to check out the haunted mansion with the two giant trees as you exit their main street! We also loved Leo, Giuseppe's dog! Bello bello bello! Grazie mille!
