Oh wow... this place was never my favourite as the managers here have been consistently rude and unhelpful. (To be fair the waiters and waitresses are always polite, it's really the management that is at fault here) However the most recent visit was the nail in the coffin. The food was just atrocious. Didn't know it was possible to get a club sandwich wrong, but they managed it. My friend and I were both horrified at the quality of the food,it was so incredibly tasteless and neither of us managed to get even halfway through our meals. Would not ever return. Don't come here expecting good service or good food because they will disappoint you.

This is a friendly pub not far from home, the staff are attentive and the food amazing. There is a conservatory if you prefer to sit there and look out to the countryside or there are tables in the main building best place to sit on a cold day is beside 1 of the 2 fires lit in the pub. We love visiting The Whistlers Inn and no doubt will be visiting again. Hi Irene, I am glad that you enjoyed your visited to the Whistler's Inn and hope to see you back again.

McCanns had been open a good few years now and I never miss it on a night out in the town even though it might only be for one pint before heading on. It had some good live music on certain nights but is normally a pub to call into for a chat with the locals and a pint. I've always been a lover of the place. It gets a good mix of young and old and there is never any trouble about it. It's well run. If your about the town drop in for a chat and a pint.

Dinner was very slow, waited a long time between starter and main then 4 out of 5 arrived, my dinner arrived when everyone else were half way through even though I ordered plain salmon and mash only. Took ages for dessert too even though only 3 options. Staff were nice.Breakfast was fairly badly organised, less than 20 people there and no orange juice, bowls or any bread, everyone was waiting for ages then a small amount of bread arrived.Hot breakfast was just ok, bare minimum. Seemed badly organised really Dear AnastaciaI am so sorry you had such a poor experience. I am afraid the chef prepared the Salmon Dish to our standard specification and not as you required. This is an oversight on our behalf and I apologise Can I ask you to contact me directly to let me know what time you had your breakfast so I can investigate thoroughly?Thank you

My friend and I called today for our lunch, when we arrived the restaurant was full and my friend asked if we could have our meal outside as she doesn't like big crowds. One of the new owners said "Yes, as long as you pay for it and told us to go outside and we would be brought menus", which never happened. We both have been customers of mcginnis for many years and have never been so insulted! He was rude and unfriendly and we will not be back!!!!

Attentive staff and friendly. Very impressed.Decor was very impressive too, lovely details: interesting plates and glasswarelovely little details in the booth we sat at, prints on walls, lovely ornamentsmodern furniture and lovely interior styling and outside very modern and well thought through.10/10. hope this is a huge success for the people behind it and wish we had something like this near us.

Ate here today on a shopping trip to Omagh. Everything was fantastic, the food was lovely and hot and fresh and excellent value for money...the waiting time was minimal and we had great service from our waitress Caroline. She was friendly and efficient even though the place was jammed (All Ireland final repeat was showing on many tvs) and wished all her customers to enjoy their meal. We have never had a meal here before but we will certainly be back. Definitely 10 out of 10 for food, cleanliness and service. Keep up the good work

We return to the town very often as we have family here. This establishment is very close to our hearts. It is a very welcoming, clean and well run family business however there is one particular member of staff that has shocked us on several occasions to date. We had the not so pleasant experience of being rushed into ordering g our meals on the pretence that there was a much larger group that could possibly have got an order in before us...HOWEVER...the reality was that the restaurant was quiet and this particular member of staff was obviously in a hurry to get home that particular evening. This has interestingly been the fourth time that we have experienced this lack of hospitality which has prompted this somewhat hesitant review. The food was lovely. The rest of the staff were lovely and very friendly and on point with the service. This one particular gentleman continues to disappoint on every level. He clearly does not want to be there and makes dining her a very uncomfortable and rushed experience, hence the poor rating
