Visited Botanic Spice on a Friday night and were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Drinks ordered and arrived swiftly along with poppadums and dips while we chose our dishes.The mixed starter was tasty and succulent meats, accompanied by onions, peppers and a tangy mango dip. Mains also excellent, full of flavour and spice and the garlic naan dripping with garlicky butter was sinfully delicious.Looking forward to our next visit to explore more of the menu!

Ok, so the food is good. Not amazing, but good.The service however for the second time has been awful. One of the main waiters is nothing short of rude. We arrived early and our table was pointed out to us. Another group arrived but didn't like their table so the waiter gave them ours!I was at the bar waiting for a drink for about 3 or 4 minutes. Another make came up and just shouted over the top of me for a drink himself. I pointed out to the waiter that I had been waiting and he just shrugged his shoulders. His attitude continued and most in our group found him rude and it was a shame. He's not meant for a customer service role!

We are just back from another visit to Spice, Lisburn and once again, it was brilliant. The food is amazing with a good choice of options. The staff are brilliant - friendly, welcoming and so courteous. We didn't have any booze tonight but there is plenty of choice, especially the gin menu.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

I know it's hard to please us Asians when it comes to Chinese food but this place does the trick! I can see why it's rated the best Chinese food in Belfast. It's upscale and although it doesn't meet the quality of Hong Kong or other countries with a Chinatown, it did hit home and the food is worthy of praise. Especially after a long day of touring, we very much "welcomed" their rice dishes. ... Omg, I just read the restaurant's responses to some of the reviews. Really? You have to comment to their review that way?! How about a more positive response?

This relatively new addition to the ever expanding East Belfast food scene was a welcome surprise - but really, plastic trees in the sushi? What a blast from the past!And itâs BYOB £3.00 CorkageWeâve driven past this restaurant a few times and it always looked intriguing. After hearing a few favourable comments, and having a rare free Saturday evening, we decided to give it a shot.We made a booking and were glad we did, because it was packed, and walk-ins were being politely turned away.There was an eclectic combination of customers which really gave the place a buzzy vibe.We ordered several dishes: to start-Spicy Tuna RollYasai GyozaKushiyaki &EdamameAnd for mains-Salmon teriyaki soba &Tofu steakIt was all excellent quality and it arrived when cooked, so this meant that we had time to savour each dish. If youâre in a rush, the service may feel a little slow, but we were delighted that we had time to enjoy each course before another arrived.There were two slightly odd things which confused us somewhat - we expect to be offered chopsticks in an Asian restaurant but when we sat at the table we were told that the restaurant had no chopsticks left. However when we looked round, one table of two which hadnât yet arrived had chopsticks on theirs. We asked if could we have them, so the waitress then supplied us with those chopsticks. However during our meal we discovered that other tables were having chopsticks delivered to them on request and at the end of the evening, all the tables being set for lunch the next day were furnished with, yes you guessed it, chopsticks!! We were told there werenât any! It just all felt a little bit weird.Secondly, a slightly retro peculiarity is the abundance of plastic foliage decorating the spicy tuna roll which felt completely unnecessary even though it made us smile about âSaturday Night Beneath The Plastic Palm Treesâ by The Leyton Buzzards, and Radioheadâs âFake Plastic Treesâ. Ah nostalgia!Overall we were really very pleasantly surprised at this addition to the area, providing fantastic quality Japanese food in an eclectic environment. It had a buzzing atmosphere and we will definitely be back.Hello! What an amazing and very detailed review, We loved it!!!! We went for Teppenyaki for lunch here today and it was AMAZING. We had the lunch special (which was £10.00 each) and it was such value for money. The food was really tasty and the portions were huge. We all came out feeling really happy with what we had just eaten. Totally delicious. What a great find!Everything we ordered from the menu was delicious and daily specials were also fantastic. Prompt and efficient service with an open kitchen where you can see the food being prepared. This is not your typical vegan/vegetarian restaurant and was equally enjoyed by the meat eaters with us.Canât wait to return.

Four of us visited for dinner on Saturday night. Lovely little restaurant with great atmosphere, friendly service and delicious food. They do a selection of small plates, big plates and bao buns, great cocktails and the Vietnamese coffee desert is a must!

Visiting Belfast for a weekend and decided to dine here after an afternoon of culture. Food was amazing and the service was exceptional - friendly and attentive. Complimentary Sambuca at the end of the meal was an unexpected treat too! Highly recommend to anyone considering trying Nepalese food for the first time!

Hi! Just tried the Nu Delhi and have to say, itâs great! Was in India last year for a wedding, their food took me right back. I can more than recommend their Chicken Chasni, and like many other reviews describe, price-quality is more than worth it. If you like wine, try the Italian âFantiniâ, delicious red wine from Sangionovese. Big thank you to Vivek and the team for the great service!
