Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Lesbos, of which it is a municipal unit. It is the only sizable coastal settlement in the south, and the second largest town on Lesbos. The municipal unit of Plomari is the southernmost on Lesbos island and has a land area of 122.452 km² and a 2011 census population of 5,602. Its largest towns or villages are Plomári, the former municipal seat (pop. 2,996), Plagiá (529), Palaiochóri (314), Megalochóri (325), and Akrási (214).

Mythos Restaurant & Pizza. Plomari Lesvos Greece. We located in Marina of Plomari nearby the sea. We serve greek cuisine, mediterranean cuisine, grill meat and fish, pizza and many other international options.

On the cozy Platanos square in Plomari, you will find Mythos. When you need a break from Greek salads and fresh fish (if ever!), Mythos offers great pizza, quesadillas and pastas. Try the chicken nuggets, insanely juicy bites of chicken that comes with three dippings. There is live music every Friday, but be aware that the place is then swarmed with Scandinavian tourists.

Stopped by for a quick lunch and the Gyro was very good. Took a few minutes to make it fresh so we sat and had a cold beer and drink. Nice place overlooking the sea. Great service and friendly owners.

When walking from Agios isidoros to Plomari this is first place to ease your thirst. Nice views from the terrasse and ok prices. Little slow service. Can not say anything about their food cause we did not ate there. They have also small beach where you, I guess, can get service also.
