... und die ist super lecker. In gemütlichem Ambiente mit zuvorkommendem Service, da fühlt man sich wohl. Die Speisen sind frisch - man kann zuschauen - angerichtet. Die Pizza ist für Normalesser zu groß. Empfehlung: Tisch vorbestelle. Ist immer ziemlich voll, kein Wunder bei der tollen Qualität.

I was traveling with my husband and a friend and we had just come off the beach by the North Sea and were hungry for lunch. We saw the sign for a plate of fresh Friesland fish for about 9.50 Euros and we each ordered it. It was a plate of about five different types of fish, each cooked in various ways, simply and deliciously. I just put a little lemon on top and devoured every morsel. The fried potatoes that accompanied the fish were also delicious. There was great local beer on tap. This restaurant was a very pleasant surprise. Good service, great food, great price.

This restaurant is in an old storehouse. The building has been totally renovated. Old on the outside, new on the inside. The walls have been left plain brick giving it a rustic atmosphere. The menu is varied - everything from meat to fish and something for vegetarians. We stopped here twice. Once for coffee and cake on the outside Terrace - delicious. With a Fountain playing. Unusually warm for October, so it was a pleasure to sit outside! Then for dinner. The service was attentive and items were explained. The food was delicious. Auf den ersten Blick schien es recht klein zu sein, aber als man weiter durch ging, entpuppte sich das Restaurant als sehr groß und vornehm.
Es war toll eingedeckt und der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam.
Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen erschien zuerst mächtig, aber die waren genau richtig. Das Staek für mein Mann war Medium gebraten und sehr zart. Das überbackene Seelachsfilet war auch auf den Punkt gebraten und einfach nur lecker.
Hier sind auch extra Wünsche kein Problem.
Sehr zu empfehlen!

Surprised my boyfriend on his 50th birthday to a tea time at Cafe Remmers. We were on a bicyle tour and happened to be in Norden on his birthday. Cafe Remmers was the perfect place to stop for a piece of " birthday" cake. There is a large choice of freshly made cakes and the cafe itself is a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy the afternoon.On a sunny day the Terrace outside is the prime spot but have a look through the inside anyway as it is decorated with lots of care and the small shop upstairs has a lovely selection of gifts. The waitress brought my boyfriend's cake with a candle and wished him a happy birthday as I called ahead to ensure they hadroom for us! A very nice touch.

We went back the second day to taste the many varieties of fresh fish. The menu consists mainly of various types of North Atlantic fish. Visited by locals the restaurant accepts only cash and the prices are very reasonable. A sample of the day's recommendation is given. A free aperitiv is given after the meal.

Huge portions, authentic greek food, attentive staff and an amazing atmosphere! Not to mention the endless shots alcohol available if you want it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

At Knurrhahn Restaurant, you get a varied menu (mostly fish and seafood), meals are well cooked, they have good beer and wine (by the glass only), service is efficient and friendly, pricing is reasonable.
