Staying at a villa across the street, we went over one evening 'just to eat a bit'. We were overwhelmed! The best Italian food and hospitality ever!Our Italian language skills are not too good (to say the least); immediately one of the staff that seems to speak almost every European language was made our host for the evening.Than came the food. We are reasonably spoiled food-lovers; Agriturismo Seaview blew us away. SUPER delicious food, priced so low, beyond imagination!If you are somewhere in the area, you should definitely go over and enjoy!By the way; the view from the terrace is probably one of the best in Calabria

This is a family run restaurant with a typically warm friendly Italian atmosphere.The menu choice is excellent with the seafood being an exception due to most of it being caught fresh locally and then cooked to perfection.All my friends who have visited La Conchiglia without exception, all say the same...The Pizza's are the best they've ever tasted and I personally would strongly endorse that.They offer outstanding value for money and I strongly recommend it to anyone who appreciates fashionable food at old fashioned prices.thanks Stephen JIn life we wanted was to do the work we do.We opened our business and, with hard work and passion, every day we carry.thanks Stephen we love you.LA CONCHIGLIA

We arrived in the town mid afternoon and not having eaten, we looked around for a place to have a late lunch. To be honest, we were too late and the town looked deserted. We spotted movement inside this clean looking establishment and we sent the secrete weapon in to knock on the door; our friend who can speak Italian with a southern accent! It worked and we all were ushered in as the family were having a well deserved break. The proprietor was happy to cook us a meal as long as we were happy to have anchovies, done three ways! We were very happy as we sat down to three courses starting with the fish cured in acid, then a traditional local pasta, and finally the fish grilled with a salad. We chatted over the next 2 hours with the chef and his lovely wife and we were treated like family. Their locally sourced wines were great accompaniments to the wonderful feast that was prepared for us. We were asked to write on the guests wall and we were given a tip as the where to go that evening to see another Calabrian coastal town which was fantastic and we would not have gone there but for this wonderfully hospitable couple. A meal that will remain with us in memory when a lot of the others are forgotten. Simply amazing: fresh food, the best cheeses and very friendly staff. We had lunch: cheeses, cured meats, different types of antipasti. Primo: two types of pasta (eggplant/ricotta and peperoncini/sundried tomatoes). Secondo: different types of grilled meat. All excellent!

We stopped here for lunch. The service was excellent. The food selection from the antipasti to the dessert was great as well. We enjoyed all of our food and you could tell the ingredients were so fresh! They even have a local beer that was excellent as well. The prices are very affordable.We would definitely stop here again!

With fantastic views over the Tyrrhenian sea this restaurant is quite unique. It mainly serves the local population with very few of the many tourists from the coast visiting it. Il Ducale serves great local produce, home made pasta dishes, speciality meat dishes with produce from the local farms and surrounding areas. Go on, venture up to Monte Poro and give yourself a treat.

I was spending some time around Capo Vaticano with my family. We decided to go to L'Aragosta after having read the excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. More than satisfied: excellent dinner, with fresh fish and a very typical pasta dish 'fileja all'nduja'. The view over the sea adds a gentle touch to this place. Service was also good. Highly recommended

I have been traveling to Nicotera Marina for many years and I know the Lido Blue Inn very well. If you look for a marvelous beach with a great service where you feel like home, this is the right place to be! The staff is very friendly and professional, they serve great homemade dishes with fresh fish every day and you'll enjoy a beautiful view thanks to the terrace facing the sea. If you want to taste the genuine Italian cuisine with top quality ingredients in a cozy atmosphere you absolutely have to stop by here for breakfast, lunch, aperitif or dinner! And once you try you can't do without!

The pizza was awesome, the wine was good. The staff was very friendly and its service was good. The tables were a little bit broken, but I think that's the way it's supposed to be in Calabria. As well you have to that nobody's able to speak the English language. All in all it was a nice evening and I would recommend the restaurant.

We were here for three times. Every visit we've ordered pizza... everytime it was very good, especially I would recommend a capricciosa. The staff is friendly, but what we did not like is a slow staff. It took 10minutes when they noticed you need something, then took ten minutes when you received a bill, then took 10minutes until you got money back.. when you get a bill, check the line "pane" - "bread" it costs 3euro, also when you did not order it and did not received it... every visit. I think that if we had not better cooking restaurant in nearby, we would not return...
