Positioned at the eastern tip of the Costa del Sol, Nerja boasts nearly 10 miles of powdery beaches featuring activities like water skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Although tourist-oriented, it hasn't been overtaken by high-rises, and its huge promenade delivers panoramic Mediterranean views.

The ambiance of rustic restaurants , with a score of feel-good character , reminiscent of a typical Andalusian restaurant . You can book the restaurant for a family celebration or other festivities.
A group of us ate here & had a lovely evening. The food was good, I had the prawn pil pil & the sole. The prawns were on the small side, I prefer when they are bigger but it was a large portion which I couldn’t finish. The sole was very good. All of our party liked what they had. The ambience is great. The owner is a fantastic host & really made us feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit.

Restaurant with a modern creative Andalusian cuisine, with a solid traditional base but constantly experimenting with new tastes, textures, techniques and products. The wine list includes wines from all around Spain. The restaurant is very close to Balcón de Europa, in the center of Nerja and has a private sunny Terrace.
From the moment our party of 3 arrived in the restaurant we were greeted by the waiters and we were in their excellent care thereafter. They explained the dishes we were interested in and advised on an excellent wine choice. The food was excellent and between courses we were served little surprises. We appreciated all the different elements that went into our food, superb! If you want to try something different and classy then do go, you won't regret it. Would definitely visit again when in Nerja.

The Spanish and English chefs at El Avalon pride themselves in providing modern European food that is influenced by their extensive travels in North Africa and South East Asia. Service at El Avalon is professional and relaxed. We have a fantastic Terrace with stunning views, and a cosy restaurant with an open fireplace for Wintertime.
We went there because of the Tripadviser reviews and were not disappointed. The food is the best we've had in Nerja. Tartar was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. The view from the Terrace is lovely as well. Beautiful place I love to recommend.

We have been coming to Nerja for over 30 years and not visited La Posada Iberica. We saw the posts on TripAdviser and were not disappointed. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The is a great friendly place to visit and eat. It was pretty busy, but we managed to get a table. We started with the Iberica ham and Manchego cheese, both very good, before we have our Argentinian steaks cooks on the grill. These were succulent and very tasty. This is off the beaten track on a side street off Pintada. It is well worth finding it as the staff are great and you will not be disappointed.

Having booked in advance for a Friday night, (always the best policy with this busy restaurant), my wife and I were greeted with a smile by the manager and shown to a table on the mezzanine floor. There was a pleasant, busy atmosphere and the service was good throughout our visit. We chose a very reasonably priced chardonnay, well chilled and full of flavour.
I selected the Ensalada Rustico for starter and bacalao (salt cod) for main. My wife chose goats cheese in puff pastry and turbot with mushroom sauce. My salad was very tasty and the bacalao a generous portion but I wish I had let my wife do the choose for me. Both of her dishes were superb (I stole a taste while she wasn't looking). Her turbot was the best fish I have ever tasted, succulent and full of flavour and the mushroom sauce rich and satisfying. The main course was accompanied by a dish of spring vegetables, cooked al dente in butter - very tasty.
The desserts being enjoyed by others looked delicious, but having overindulged elsewhere for lunch, we decided to leave them for another time and settled for coffee and brandy.
The bill was reasonable for such a high quality restaurant and we can't wait to visit Bakus again. (I'm still dreaming of that turbot dish).

We wandered around town looking for a really good pizzeria, of which there are a few, but chose this because it looked stylish, had tablecloths and it looked like they were trying to do things well. We were very glad to have chosen it. We ended up having the tuna tartar, which was delicious, a great pizza with real porcini mushrooms, and a fresh pasta dish with seafood. We were brought complementary aperitifs, a glass of sorbet between courses and a digestif after the meal, all served by a very professional waiter.
The restaurant was quiet, and our meals did take a while to come, but I imagine it's because they were being freshly and carefully prepared.

We have been in Nerja for two weeks now and always walked past this place opposite the Round Bar.
Owners are Belgian and I have to say the service and food was excellent.
A husband and wife team, he does the cooking she is front of house.
Only a small place but our medium sirloin steaks were excellent.
Only salad and choice of potatoes with meal, no veg.
You even get a small starter of soup, ham, olives and bread sticks on the house.
House wine also best I have had in Nerja.
A definite recommend from us.

The Oasis of Marrakesh is a proposal for meeting and tasting the authentic Moroccan traditional cuisine. In our wide menu there are the most recognized plates and recipes of the tasteful and delicious Moroccan gastronomy: all types of cous cous, tajins, pastela, soups, morsels, bred, Deserts,…all coked with first quality and fresh ingredients and neatly presented in its own typical style. The restaurant brings a close and familiar service, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with outdoor Terrace and complete bar service. We speak English, Spanish, French and Arab.
Mama & Son team make this restaurant an authentic Morrocan escape--she's a magician in the kitchen, and everything we ordered was exceptional. Definitely order a tagine, the three-salad combination, the prawns pil-pil, and the (gluten-containing) bread---all amazing. Service was a bit slow, but he was kind and accommodating.

Stopped off here as it was the 2016 winner of the Nerja tapas run. Tapas was a stylised fish and prawn dish with paer sails to represent the sea. Tasty and unusual. 4 stars rated on the tapas run. Dutch owners are very friendly and took time to explain the thinking behind the dish.

Unique atmosphere located in one of the oldest houses in Nerja which has a nice and original Andalusian patio. Along with the top brand in Geneva and Ron, extensive menu of cocktails, beers, etc ... you can enjoy a huge variety of teas and coffees, fresh juices and delicious smoothies. We have a wide range of Arabic pastries and homemade cakes and crepes. We also have a snack menu with burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc ... all great. The kitchen in low season (November to February) is open from 6:00pm to 9:35pm. We do not put Tapas in the low season.
Absolute gem of a place to relax with a drink and fabulous variety of food and home made cakes. The goats cheese salad is delicious. service is very efficient and friendly. Warm welcome is assured and lots of comfortable outdoor Seating in beautiful courtyard.
would definitely recommend a visit here and will definitely return when we visit Nerja again next time. free tapas with wine. Also has comfortable indoor areas.
