We ate here a couple of times while we were in Riva and the weather was a bit dodgy, and each time had better food than we were expecting considering it looks like a standard hotel restaurant. We had the sea bass and lamb chops. The sea bass was good but the lamb was really excellent, five double chops cooked well so they were pink, tasty, succulent.We also tried the pizzas which were good. All this in a restaurant that has a good view over the lake, which isn't as common as you might expect in Riva.The service is good and the prices are reasonable.Dear Southgate family,we are so happy to read your review about our restaurant! We loved this place! Amazing food fantastic ambience and service and superb locationTucked away in the beautiful italian backstreets! This restaurant is extremely popular - which I always think is a great sign - it does however mean that it gets very busy so I'd recommend booking. We had starters followed by the lamb and the steak which were absolutely fantastic - cooked to perfection with lots of fresh vegetables. The pizzas looked incredible here too - they were bigger than the plates! The service was slow, however, this restaurant is HUGE and can hold a lot of covers, but if you have some wine and take your time this restaurant is delightful. I twas our favourite in Torbole.

Wonderful pizzas and great value for money! We visited both for lunch and for dinner, on two different days, and both meals were wonderful experiences. Not fancy food, but honest and very reasonable priced. And the pizza crust: in its own league!

When I was in Riva La Garda this week I looked up TripAdvisor for a restaurant and booked this restaurant. Wonderful, an enjoyable meal and a good and friendly service too. Also nicely decorated and good value for money. The meat I had was just perfectly prepared. One word of complaint tough, please invest in a good air conditioning. The pizza was very delicious and the service always ready to help. We had to sit inside, as it seems to be a known place for delicious food. Thus I recommend to do a reservation to save waiting time plus having a table outside. :)

This friendly restaurant and bar is tucked away in a side street of central Riva De Garda. We dined there as a family of four and had a great meal. My daughters shared a Pizza (â¬15), as we were advised that sharing is the way to best enjoy the thick and rich base. I am an avid pizza baker and found the dough (risen over 48-72h) to be very tasty and special. I had the truffle risotto (â¬14) and my wife chose the salmon (â¬15). All dishes tasted incredibly good and cooked to perfection. My wife and i also tried local white wines by the glass, which were wonderful. There is also a range of very interesting local artisan beers available, which are worth a try. All four of us also shared a tasty meat/cheese platter and 2 great Tiramisu. The overall bill came to â¬91, which is about â¬10-15 above average for a family-of-four meal in Riva. But in my view it is absolutely worth the additional money. Service was patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Locals stopped by for a drink and it was great to see community appeal of this place. We were so happy with the pizza that we actually went back the next evening. Tried different pizzas from the menu and everything was excellent. My husband is very picky about what he would call good pizza and he loved this place. Would highly recommend this place!

Great location for people watching, close to the port.Food was ok, pizza was big, easily shared but service not great for us though everyone else appeared to be receiving great service, mainly German and Italian so that may be why.would not recommended as plenty of other great restaurants close by. We had to ask for water, everyone else had three straight out, not friendly
