We spent six glorious days at the Santhiya Tree Resort. We really were treated like royalty here. Probably the closest thing to paradise that Iâve ever seen. The breakfast buffet has everything you could want, from local cuisine to international favorites. Eggs Benedict, no problem, shrimp fried rice, they have it. But even better than the selection and quality of the food, is the service we received from the staff. In particular, look for Donald Leozta. He waited on us for nearly all our meals. We got to know him pretty well and he is a prince of a young man. Stayed at a local hotel, the Chill, and was happy to find this wine bar with good choices of wine. Wine is in general very expensive in Thailand so be prepared to pay a lot more for wine than other alcoholic drinks. We enjoyed coming here in the evenings for a glass of red wine and relaxing before heading back to the hotel. Good service and nice staff.
