After the same type of breakfast we wanted something different, not too extravagant, just bacon and eggs.Man in Pasta in Cefalu offers just that, although the bacon was average, everything else was tasty. Scrambled eggs, tomato, cheese, toast and marmalade, juice and coffee for just â¬7.50 per person. Perfect start to the day before the aqua park.

My mom and I stayed in Cefalu for 4 nights and overall we were really disappointed in the food in Cefalu. We are Italian-American from NYC and know good Italian food. We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and both decided out of our 12 days in Sicily this was the best meal we'd had. The cheese & meat platter is outrageous, using high quality, local, organic, and grass fed meats. It was some of the best salami I've ever had as was the cheese. The fresh ricotta was AMAZING. Their local wine is also high end and all organic. I had the fresh fettuccine with mushroom sauce and I practically licked the plate when I finished. My mom had the lasagna and 2 weeks later is still talking about how good it was! If you are in Cefalu you must go here!!!!Grazie,grazie ,grazie.

Weâve been in this nice gourmet restaurant located in the heart of Cefalù. Very high quality food and prices for every pocket! Bruschette as snack or appetizer highly recommended!! Made with real Sicilian olive oil. For beer lovers who want to try a unique experience all made in Sicily, the beer Messina is the best to try in this place! Itâs flavored with sea saltâs crystals. The owner is a nice person that makes everyone feel comfortable as he speaks 3 languages. We will definitely come back soon!

We went here because of the good reviews. Nice looking restaurant and interesting looking menu. Great principles - ancient grains, organic, local ingredients, no palm oil etc. But the food was a MASSIVE disappointment. Vegetarian & vegan dishes were totally bland. No meat or fish shouldnât mean no flavour, especially here with so many flavoursome things on the menu - eg artichoke cream. Service was also unimpressive. Nobody checked on us or asked how our food was - not when the plates were collected, not when we paid the bill. Worst meal Iâve had in Sicily. 40 euro down the drain. Not happy.

It was noontime in lovely Cefalu and we were half way through our tour here . The shaded stools on the sidewalk in front of this small great Enoteca were very tempting and inviting . We have decided to have here a "wine and Something break .Good decision . Good choice .The smiling welcoming hostess , was very helpful by calling (Speaking Italian) our next reserved accommodation of later that night in Taormina , and solved our arrival time at the hotel problem . Then , her charming partner , arrived with two cool white wine glasses (remembering to hand the fruitier one to my wife) , and a giant dish with a nice selection local cold cuts and cheeses and olives and whats not . Marvellous !!!And the price was OK too . Inside the Enoteca they have a wide and nice selection of local goodies , wine and spirits (look for the good Grrappa) . Yummy !!So , if you are in Cefalu , in need of a calm "wine and something" break - look for this charming place and nice people .
