This place is worth a detour from Acqui. A perfect place for aperitivo with friends in this nice and quiet village. Friendly atmosphere and great local wines at a very reasonable price. Marvellous 360⢠view from the rooftop lookout. Highly recommended.

We arrived in nizza monferrato from villa nova d'asti and came across this restaurant via the enoteca shop in the centre. Really good shop By the way!!!We turned up at 7.30 and were far from disappointed. The food was lovely ,service was excellent and the wine list fantastic and was not expensive . we had brema 2009 which was superb and would no doubt have cost in excess of £70 back in the ukYou have to visit this unassuming but great restaurant with a really friendly knowledgeable and enthusiastic sommelier

Ape Wine Bar has a surprisingly delicious lunch with an extensive menu. Much more than wine and bar snacks, this wine bar has a full menu of pasta, meat, and seafood options. The pasta and dessert that I enjoyed here with a couple of glasses of local white wine exceeded expectations. Service was also attentive and food came out quickly.I would not hesitate to choose this again and again. In fact, I am glad my local connection to Ape Wine Bar introduced me.

The newest born at the Carussin home completes its first year of operation! Grappolo contro Luppolo (Cluster versus Hops) âgave birthâ to good satisfaction, excellent customers & successful events: the main protagonists have been Reparto N 6 and the legen
It goes without saying that tasting the excellent wines of the Cascina Carussin with a bite of fine italian salami or excellent goat cheese can make your day.

Went here for an early Christmas dinner with the family. We were the only ones there, But that was unusual. Last year we were there also & the place was fully booked. We had the Barbera produced by the man of the house, & it was Perfecto.I had the vitello tonnato, carne croudo & the panna cotta. Loved it all. My sister in law had the chestnut soup, it is there speciality & it too was delicious. Go there when ever in Canelli; the place is cosy & the service is the Best.

A converted cinema (hence the pun in the name.. Italian cinemas call their film showings primo tempo/secondo tempo....). Parking right opposite in the square.Steps lead up the the entrance where you pass the display of the wines, taking you on the 3 levels of seating. The host and table service was very good and the advice given on which wine (Barbera) to choose was well worth while. You don't need to pay a fortune for good wine. There was a wide choice of regional dishes to suit all tastes and I would recommend you be adventurous and not stick with the usual Italian restaurant offerings. That said all dishes were excellent including the veal slow cooked in wine, and the unusual cheesecake made with a flavoursome (seirasse) cheese. The price for 4 of us for 3 courses with wine was "very" reasonable and what you would pay for a UK pub lunch
