It's a nice little place with great salads and sandwiches. There are few tables inside and outside - it you chose the latter, you'll be sitting near passing cars, but that's not a problem.PS. If you want WiFi - go inside.

We arrived without a reservation via our hotel so they gave us a table but completely ignored us the whole evening. It took them half an hour to give us the menu, water and bread. Other people that came after us received service in minutes, but I guess they knew them.When we asked when are we going to get the food the waitress shouted at us âyes I know I saw youâ in the most vulgar manner. Finally when I got my pasta with Ragu, the meat sauce tasted like dog food, my partner was still waiting for his Fiorentina, when I nearly finished my food he told the hostess this is a disgrace that he still didnât get his food all she said is that they were busy and didnât bother to apologise. We paid full price and they didnât even bother to offer a discount for the appalling service. The restaurant was full and they clearly couldnât care less of what some tourists would think of them.Good meat is a dime a dozen in Tuscany, no need to go to a place that does not know what customer service means.Mi dispiace leggere quanto scritto sopra, probabilmente lei mr ha sbagliato ristorante. Qui da noi non viene assolutamente trattato male nessuno, i clienti vengono accolti con il sorriso e coccolati, mai nessuno dello staff si e permesso di rispondere in questa maniera! I brought my guests here, a family of five from the USA, and they enjoyed a beer tasting with some great freshly made sandwiches and salads, all offered with the warmest hospitality. Everybody had a wonderful time here. My only regret is not tipping enough, but i will make up for it next time. i am definitely returning here soon.

I would start saying that the location is amazing, i thought to be in polinesia as the structure is similar to a tipical pacific islands building, sorrounded by nature. The pizza's ingredients are really good, mozzarella used is real fresh one and not the one mostly used today. But most important factor it's easy to digest. Try it!

We were staying not far from this restaurant in a villa that is actually owned by the same gentleman who owns this restaurant! Our villa was as lovely as the restaurant.From the main road through Castagneto Carducci the restaurant doesn't look much, but you can drive through a narrow archway (parking is available but limited), and you are rewarded with the most amazing view of the Tuscan Hills! We went for my boyfriends birthday dinner, had a fab table on the edge so we could see the beautiful view and sunset. We ate in the restaurant, there is also a separate part which is the pizzeria. The service and food was fantastic, pasta to die for and lovely wines. I would definitely recommend this lovely gem, it's not in the main town area, just on the road coming in or out of CC depending which way you are going!a heartfelt thanks from all the staff of Il Vecchio Frantoio restaurant, we hope to see you soon!

If you in love with good food and fantastic location, that is the place. The restaurant is in a villa in the countryside with amazing view. The cousin is an authentic Tuscany cuisine. I loved the brasato, absolutely tasty, and the pork with apples!!

We had dinner here one evening while staying nearby. Asked to be seated outdoors but eventually ended up inside because tables were "reserved". Had drinks. Ordered appetizers and dinner. There were 3 appetizers and a salad that were to be shared among 6 people. That worked out okay, but somewhere along the line the waitress misunderstood and never brought one of the dinners. In fact, brought 2 people their dinner while 1 was having a salad and the other 3 of us shared appetizers.Then when she brought out the other dinners--she only brought 3...instead of 4...When we asked, she was really confused and apparently never ordered it....so then they wanted to cook it to order--thought we were adding on to our order, but by then everyone else had finished eating...so...I went without dinner. A bit of a language issue although the waitress seemed to get everything else right. Food was good. Lots of fresh seafood and a good wine list.

You can always find wonderful food in Italy, particularly in Tuscany, Drago Bria'o is an amazing little restaurant which simply takes food to a higher level! The name of the restaurant translates to the drunken dragon and that is easy to tell why. Here we are in the region of the Super Tuscan wines, which you can of course enjoy with your dinner here, but Tiziano, the owner also offers an amazing choice of local artisan Tuscan beers, and for lunchtime on a hot day this was just perfect - we had already been trying a little of the Super Tuscan though.Food is of course highly authentic, cold meats through to a soup in a bun (bread) to a main course to desert.The restaurant is tucked away in Castagneto Carducci, hidden among the backstreets, but like so many wonderful things in life, the best things are often little secrets. If you come and eat here, you will want to return for more.The food is wonderful, the service is excellent, the welcome is like you're seeing you family after a break of a year. You are most warmly embraced here. It is well worthwhile taking a walk along the back streets to discover this wonderful little gem.

Had lunch here while enjoying a lovely day at the beach. Staff was very pleasant and service was prompt. Fried calamari was outstanding. Linguine with lobster was excellent and generously portioned. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere casual and friendly. Just right in this charming beach town.

Fantastic welcome even though early. Ambiance lovely. Menu varied, though in the main, this is a fish speciality restaurant. There are some other choices such as pork however. Potentially all ingredients locally sourced, some definitely such as the peach in the free aperitif drink. We didnât find the food to be fine dining but that was ok for us, it was homely food and well cooked. We have been fortunate to have experienced dining in many restaurants around the world, including our home town where the restaurants are expensive. However Osteria San Michele has to be one of the most expensive yet and Iâm sorry, but not worth it. I state this because it was not the standard you would expect for the price. Also for those who have a normal appetite the portions are very small. However, sufficed for us.
