We were drawn to try Ohana by its #1 TripAdvisor rating, across all restaurants in Jaco and I must say the top spot has been rightfully earned. Ohana is located on a side street called âCalle Hiacoâ which makes the location perfect for an enjoyable dinner since the restaurant is open (back and side wall only).Service is unparalleled. It has been a while since a restaurant owner has approached our table and educated us on what to eat, why and then tailor our foodâs preparation to taste and health needs.Esteban, our waiter, was âowner-styleâ attentive and made sure our dinner experience was one to remember.Cocktails are a must. Try the mojito with Centenario Rum (as opposed to the traditional Flor the Cana) or the cucumber martini (with Grey Goose).Every appetizer and every roll is phenomenal.Enjoy raw, tempura or flambé. Tips:* On weekend or high-season nights, arrive early or call ahead.* Order in waves, family style. Sharing all appetizers and plates across the table is guaranteed to be fun and tasty!

We stopped here after an afternoon surf lesson. The area, Jaco walk is a super fun area with lots of dining and entertainment for the family.Tsunami was very good, we enjoyed our dinner. The portions are quite large, next time, weâll split some of the entrees. Pura vida!

Arigato is an open-air sushi joint in the middle of Jaco. The food is quite good for the price, but best to check their nightly specials and happy hour deals. Monday nights are all night happy hour.

Next to no taste. They don't pack the rolls tight so when you dip in the soy sauce they fall apart. Price is right though. But I'd rather pay more for sushi with more taste.
