An exceptional meal and wonderful experience. Christina, the proprietor, is absolutely delightful and authentic and the food is out of this world. Donât miss the Greek salad with local cheese! All of the food is prepared and cooked to order using only fresh, local ingredients. Thank you, Christina, and the rest of your staff for a fantastic meal.

that's really what attracted us to Kozi - we felt somewhat intimidated by the aggressive, growling, athletic looking young lady seemingly in charge (the smart money is on her being her owner Father's Princess) her duties are strictly seating, organizing, bossing and delivering the bills, clearing tables wouldn't be part of her remit, towards the end of our stay my son was returning from the loo the said young lady overtook him, brushing him aside with her forearm in the process, in a manner that Mick MaMannus would have been proud, (we didn't mention the assault to my partner, his Mother until long afterwards as they say the Police cells at Naxos aren't very nice ) I felt quite anxious as the servers were all devoid of any facial expression, they appeared low in sprits, tired, lacking in zest, we were at Kozi (starters, mains and drinks, three people over 50 euros) over one hour I didn't see any of the the staff smile at any stage - my partner requested a veggi option (only one item on the menu) "I can offer you potatoes, cheese and mushrooms in a creamy sauce" sounds wonderful, says she however, when it arrived she was presented with chips with cheese melted in the microwave! We ordered our food altogether, it arrived in dribs and drabs one of the starter dishes was literally plonked on the table, it mush have left the waiters hand at six inches, by the time I'd heard the thud the server had his back turned and was two yards away - requesting the bill generated no response whatsoever, having requested the bill for a second time it was dropped on the table by the above young women whist passing, at speed , no verbal nor facial contact at any stage, I'm no shrinking violet but I don't believe that I've ever felt so uncomfortable at a Teverna in Greece, I've visited Greece on well over 30 occasions over the past 30 years. The not so Kozi Taverna should be thanking their lucky stars for passing trade and the amazing beach front location.
