Five of us were seated at a table that could easily have held ten. That combined with deafening music (the floor beneath my feet was vibrating) meant nobody could speak. My steak arrived, after a very long wait, absolutely raw. I cooked it to medium rare myself on the hot plate -- which I had to ask for. The waiter forgot one thing we asked for. The quality of the meat was inferior to what I had a year earlier. I would otherwise give them another shot, but ear splitting music at lunch time will keep me away. Too bad. Hands down this is the best steakhouse in Merida! Excelent service, excellent food! Arrive early to avoid waiting in line, especially for Sunday lunch! Not only are the steaks great and cooked to perfection, the Kobe burger served only in the evenings, just melts in your mouth! The gigantic salads, which can be shared, are equally delicious! Of all the fantastic restaurants in Merida, and there are so many, this is our favorite!

We have been renting an Airbnb located next to the delivery door of this restaurant. This is the noisiest, most inconsiderate business we have ever encountered. Aside from the usual midnight exodus of loud employees, their burglar alarm has run every 15 minutes all night long. They tripped it when they left at midnight last night and made no attempt to turn it off. I have called them and walked over there this morning and the people working in the kitchen do not know how to turn the alarm off so have done nothing.They do not know who the boss is or who the owner is in order to contact them to get the alarm shut off.They are trying to have a first class steakhouse in a residential neighborhood and have no consideration for the neighbors.Dear LynneD442, first of all we want to offer a sincere apology for the inconvenience. We are really sorry about last night. The alarm went off all night because of a technical issue that did not depend on us. It is a fact that it completely went out of our control, we have already talked with our security provider so that it does not happen again. This is an unprecedented fact and we apologize once again. The effort of a whole team of talented and passionate people for their work should not be minimized by an external accident. It is the second time I visit this perfect place to taste a good, fine steak in Merida City. But this time I was amazed when a local friend suggested roasted tuna fish and a whole grilled octopus. Don't miss them, both dishes are exquisite. Obviously we finished our meal with a vaciado steak, perfectly medium cooked.All in all a delicious experience. Enjoy your meal.
