I call on my drive from uk to Malta. The service and food is fantastic itâs very reasonable and I love the atmosphere. You have the choice of pizzas and excellent meat meal. Itâs a welcome stop after a long drive.

Il vecchio âPummaruléâ è diventato âDuecento Grammiâ con una nuova gestione. Aperto dal febbraio, piano piano, conquista i primi clienti permanenti. In sala ho trovato un servizio impeccabile da parte di una giovane ma esperta cameriera, Denisa, che ha saputo coprire tutta la sala con saggezza e professionalità . Dalla cucina sono usciti piatti squisiti e posso dire molto generosi. Scelgo i pici all'amatriciana e una bella costata di manzo danese. Tutto ottimo! Prezzi sopra la media, ma anche la qualità .

We had a family dinner last night at this "minimal restaurant". It's interesting to see the Italians have begun to adopt one American restaurant model...all you can eat of good but not great food! Having said that we really enjoyed all of the offers and the good service. Was also impressed with the price. Will definately look forward to my next visit.

The menu looked promising, but the food, which was delivered with about 30 minutes delay, did not live up to the pictures in the menu or on the board outside. The guacamole was tasteless and the refried beans had obviosuly been sitting in the hot kitchen for some time. The waiter was clearly distracted and we had to ask for ketchup several times. The location and decor are appealing but unfortunately the food does not do it justice. The wrap and the hot dog were dry.Hi CossyWombat, thank you for your feedback. We have eaten here 3 times in the last week while holidaying in the area with our 4 small children. Family friendly. Great customer service. English speaking. Perfectly cooked Italian food. The menu is about 20+ pages mainly of pizza and pasta - more choice than you could ever wish for. Although the menu is all in Italian the staff were amazing at making suggestions and altering food choices to incorporate personal preferences. The name Big Ali reflects in the portion sizes - you will never go hungry here - the portions are mammoth, in fact we ordered smaller portions on our last visit to avoid wasting the amazing food. Although the name of this restaurant wouldn't look out of place as a takeaway in any big city - DON'T be fooled - the food is as authentic as it comes and cooked to perfection. The costs were very reasonable too for the quality (and volume!) of the feast provided. Thank you Big Ali, you and your staff made us very welcome and were a real highlight of our trip.Thank you very much for your great review! :)Was a real pleasure to have your family in my restaurant.Hope to see you again in the future, for another great experience.Best regards...
