Puerto Maldonado (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈpweɾto maldoˈnaðo]) is a city in southeastern Peru in the Amazon rainforest 55 kilometres (34 mi) west of the Bolivian border; located at the confluence of the Tambopata and Madre de Dios rivers, the latter of which joins the Madeira River as a tributary of the Amazon. It is the capital of the Madre de Dios Region.

Esta muy cerca al mirador, cuenta con aire acondicionado lo que hace que este comodo por la calor que hace en la ciudad, el servicio esta bueno, pero tardan mucho en preparar los platos. por lo demas esta muy bien.

Owner operated--they were really good before, but now they have a new chef and it's awesome! It's your best value for the price, the cleanest place to eat, food done right by people who enjoy food preptry the meat and noodles, or the saltados, or the smoked meats, its all good! and you can eat the salad!Thank you so much for the opinion and sorry for the delay in responding, we appreciate you remembering us for the cleanliness and good attention, we really enjoy serving every dish we make for you. A small restaurant but good nourishment. We ordered 2 burgers (chicken and beef), salad and paste. Everything was delicious and I will come back again !

El lugar esta ubicado a orillas del rio Tambopata, esta muy bien para comer, la comida esta muy buena, pero demoran mucho en el servicio, es porque hay mucha gente yendo a este lugar y solo abre los fines de semana. Recomendado para comida regional, pero solo si tienes tiempo para esperar al menos 30 min antes de que te traigan la comida (seguro que en algunos casos puedes esperar mucho mas tiempo), pero puedes distraerte con la musica en vivo, tambien ofrecen alquiler de motos acuaticas y tienes la piscina.

Stayed in the hotel where restaurant is located during our Peru trip, and this was an incredible experience. After eating in some of Limaâs top restaurants, the experience in Amazona topped some of them; two young chefs, passionate about the Amazon and sharing flavors from the area made out trip. All ingredients are locally sourced, a refreshing view to Peruvian cuisine. Amazing Thank you for your comments. It is a pleasure to know that they felt good. We recently had 4 nights in Puerto Maldonado as part of an Amazon adventure. We were recommended Sahoda by our guide Victor and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere and location are wonderful and Shantelle, the owner was very helpful and friendly explaining some of the local menu items. Food was really lovely and pisco sours were great. An absolutely fantastic eatery in Puerto Maldonado. During a three-night stay, we ate dinner twice and breakfast once, and would have had every meal there if we found it earlier! Forego the âincluded breakfastâ at your hotel and come here.Fantastic food quality: local, organic, many gluten-free options. Compostable straws, no plastic. English menu. And unbelievably inexpensive.It has a nice, high location overlooking the center town square, which makes it particularly fun for nighttime cocktails as you watch the areaâs nightlife pass by. Just fyi, you have to climb several flights of stairs to get there.Really enjoyed the different varieties of pisco sour here.Hats off to Juan for brining a fantastic eatery and bar to this town.
