Welcome to our official page. Our new restaurant got a long tradition from the past with a new vision for the future. We completely change our venue and our cuisine, giving a touch of modern taste, with new savours and recipes, never forgetting where we c
We visited here for the Greek night on a Wednesday and it was fantastic. Lots of music, dancing and plate smashing. The owner was really friendly, talking to everyone and getting them up to dance. I had pasta with salmon my mum the sea bream the only downside was although we asked for it to be filleted it still had loads of bones in but all round a great atmosphere and lovely food. Prices were much more reasonable than on the beachfront. It cost 50 euros and that was with a starter to share and 2 karafes of wine!!

Stayed in the hotel next door and tried this place tonight. Had already sampled a couple of the restaurants on the beach but after trying this one itâs clear your paying for the view and not the food at those establishments. Everything about this place is very traditional - nobody trying to force you in off the street (the others do that) , traditional Greek food of the highest order ( better than those near the beach) and cheaper too - what a bonus. Every time we walk past there are plenty of people in there - it lets the food do the talking- try it, you wonât be disappointed.

We stopped by on the off chance for a later dinner. We were treated to tomato balls (delicious) steak and rocket (well seasoned and cooked to perfection) and our first moussaka (nothing to compare it to but mouthwatering!).Staff were really friendly and fun. House red was delicious. Great value. Would highly recommend

The young lady works relentlessly and impeccably serves patrons single handedly. Food is good although not necessarily the best. The margerita pizza for instance came on a frozen pizza base. You'll get sunbeds and umbrella for free if you dine or consume some drinks here! Enjoyed it though!

Fun atmosphere, t very good traditional taverna food, very good prices, because on a side street, not seaside. Fist night we were greeted by the Captain, who makes his raki/fruit juice welcome shots during the winter. over our meals we tried: pork schnitzel, beef stifado, soutzoukakia, pastitio, moussaka, and dolmades. all very enjoyable. Sweet treat or raki at end of meal, complimentary.

This is not the original lava.. its a place run by different people with different quality. Donât support it.
Lava Taverna is a fairly new venture and Iâm sure it wasnât there on our last visit some 18 months ago. It is located right at the end of the road that runs from Perissa through Perivolos where it ends in a kind of wide dirt track. We walked from Perissa on several occasions and Lava was a relief when it came into view and offered some respite from the blazing sun. We didnât try any of the food as our walks generally took place after breakfast and before lunchtime. We did, however, order several soft drinks which were 2 euros each for a 330ml can which is good value for the area. Service was always fast and friendly as, on each occasion, we were the only customers. I hope business improves and Lava is a success, itâs certainly in a magnificent spot and the views are typically excellent. It can also be reached by a back road if youâre driving.

We used the beach opposite this restaurant several times during our stay in Perissa. The beach is well maintained and the staff available all day to bring drinks (and smoothies). We also ate lunch here on several days and were pleased with the quality of food and service.

We called in on the last day of the holiday for lunch, every night we passed it was jammed packed so there must be something about it. We had tuna salad with cheese, eggs and ham and a side of chips, I think we could have passed on the chips. The tuna salad was full, a solid plate of food and the ham and eggs were enough for a lunch snack. The staff were pleasant and helpful and not too pushy. We finished off with a cappuccino and an espresso which were good coffees, they gave us mini ice lollies as a thanks as we left. I still canât see what the big attraction to the place is in the evening other than the special offers of dishes to share at â¬29.There us nothing wrong with the place not us there anything spectacular about it. Whatever it has seems to work though.

great location next to the sea, fresh fishs, the srvice was kind and good. we most defenatly will come back again. the greek music and atmosphir make this resturant to be mone of the best in all santorini for sure. you begin with walking in order to choose the fresh fishes that you want wich just cought today morning, and then you sit back and relax drink some ouzo or beer, while the creet salad is served for apetasare. and then to the main dishes which you chose befor. you will be in even at that time not less then that. and if you will have the power to finish what you order and you still have got some space, you shold ask for great greek coffe and some of the swsets - enjoy !!! (i am sure you will)

We only ate here once, in the evening, but were impressed with the prompt service and delicious food. Portions were hearty, to say the least and we all really enjoyed our meals. If we had been staying longer, we would definitely have returned to this restaurant.
