We were seated in a small dining room which was lovely. The service was excellent, the pace slow enough without feeling rushed, but done well.
The food is so good it's hard to describe. i had the boeuf bourgeon and the blonde sundae. What is really nice is that you can have a full plate or a half. Half was more than sufficient. The beet salad was tasty and the dash of dried figs made is quite interesting.
My friend had the same meal and we both agreed it was excellent. When the check cam I almost fainted. We had had starters, entrees, deserts and proseco and the bill was $94. There is no way in DC you could have had an even mediocre meal for that amount much one of this quality. Strongly recommend.

We had lunch here... Chowder was great and the chicken salad was really good too. Very tasty iced tea. Nice selection of wine. It's a very tiny restaurant. The waitstaff was very friendly. Great hot chocolate and biscotti. A comfortable and inviting seating area. Many people were buying the gelato which is apparently quite good.

My friend and I had lunch and a very good glass of wine while passing through Lenox recently. The food was excellent and nicely presented. Also appreciated the help with a wine - I told the waiter my tastes and his selection was spot on!

Stopped off here on a very wet afternoon during a self-drive holiday around New England. We were desperately in need of a break from driving and a coffee. Staff were so friendly, the coffee and hot chocolate were great and it was very difficult to resist the display of wonderful patisserie .... The store wasn't particularly busy when we arrived, but then we were entertained by the very strange family group who came in after us! Highly recommended, and a great place for a stop-off. Lenox is a lovely town!

A lovely little house with awesome artistic photography on display and for sale along with excellent coffee, including a 12-hour cold-brewed Japanese spirited iced coffee option. Funky space, upstairs and down, and a nice mix of an arts vibe with good coffee.

We are a family-owned coffee roastery, cafe and gallery located in the historic train station in West Stockbridge, MA in the beautiful Berkshires. We roast our own coffee three times a week in the cafe, serve wonderful espresso drinks from a hand-pulled lever machine, offer a pourover bar, chemex bar and over 18 different kinds of full leaf teas. We make everything in-house: from baked goods, to granola, to slow-roasted meats; and offer panini, salads and soups made from local season ingredients. We are also open for gourmet pizza, stews, salads and wine and beer on Friday nights. It's a community place with guitar, backgammon, chess and long communal tables as well as an adjoining gallery with many events and new art openings every six weeks. Hope you stop by and stay awhile.

We had this place recommended for coffee and stayed for lunch. It was a highlight of our Berkshire stay - gently hipster but with everyone from yoof to grannies eating there. The coffee was good, the food unpretentious and well prepared. The man who brought our food was a smiling delight and the interior was delightful. A thorough recommend.

We stock farm fresh milk, locally roasted coffee and hand crafted treats. One exception though--our seasonally imported Italian Gelato's arrive frozen...Serving coffees, teas, hot spiced cider, and the best Hot Chocolate in the Berkshires.

I would have to agree that the sea salt caramel is the best! However I ended up finishing my daughters chocolate and it was amazing! A little bit more pricey than regular ice cream, but that is to be expected since it's gelato!So sorry for the delayed response...Thank you for stopping in this summer to sample our Imported Italian Gelato. It's only available for the summer season and likewise, it goes so fast!

Voted "Best of the Berkshires 2016". We offer two menus, a more formal menu in the dining room areas, and a bar/ tapas menu in the Bistro room and bar. We offer later hours on the weekend throughout the summer season, and to go meals.

Totally enjoyed the special apple and pumpkin/butternut squash soup made without cream and just lovely smooth and flavorful, nice bread, and excellent braised (well, it really wasn't, as duck leg was confit and the breast could be amended to be extra crispy, which I did) duck, which was just perfectly prepared with excellent seasoning. The trout was rather bland, however, and the salmon starter was excellent, not too salty, always a feat. Why not excellent rating, wish the tables had cloths or somehow looked less like a dinner. Just didn't seem that crispy clean, despite the fact someone did clean off the table before dessert was served. Dessert options did not have appeal, sorbet, gelato -- ho hum, flourless chocolate cake, lemon cake...just didn't inspire. Good meal. Good service. Good food.

We are always looking for that special hometown breakfast eatery - where everybody knows your name. Following TA, we made the Cafe a stop on our itinerary. The restaurant is located on Main Street, beneath Norman Rockwell's studio from 1953 to 1957. The restaurant is seasonally decorated, our service was efficient, and our server was engaging. My wife got a unique concoction of a bacon and fried egg French toast sandwich! I got the fresh blueberry pancakes with a side of sausage, and upgraded to Vermont maple syrup. Both breakfasts were tasty and delivered to our premise of a special hometown breakfast. Coffee was hot!
