For those who have never been to tanglewood I highly recommend it. This is one of the few places that is absolutely incredible...I have seen many concerts here from the BSO as well as individual artists. It is a great place for family or romantic or even individuals. You can do your own thing at your own pace..A MUST VISIT...

Never really knew much about Norman Rockwell except I liked some of his paintings. I learned alot about him & very much enjoyed seeing every painting he ever did! Unfortunately, our experience was less than stellar. The best thing about this winery was sitting outside and enjoying the views. We followed the suggestion of the other reviewers, and purchased some donuts, which were good - much better than the wine. I found that the staff were surly and singularly unhelpful, and the wine, not worth the $5.00 we paid for tasting. We did not stay long.

So many tourists drive past Steepletop on Rt 22 in Columbia County bordering the Berkshires ,not realizing what it is.
Driving up a East Road,a long ,windy scenic road bordering a state forest you come upon Steepletop, the Edna St Vincent Millet compound. There are two distinct areas. One her home and grounds the other an artist colony for visiting artists,writers ,etc The beautiful setting is perfect for creativity
A new welcome center and gift shop has just opened, and tours are available You don't have to be a poetry lover to appreciate the historic importance and beautiful grounds of the property

We had a ball looking at everything jammed in this store. We purchased some vanilla, as well as a few other items. You will find things here that you will not find anywhere else. Had fun talking to the ladies working there, and they even threw in some free gift bags and another item once they heard our story. A store like no other!

Any Catholic would find this Shrine worth the visit. The grounds were covered in snow, but the sculptures were beautiful. The church is reminiscent of churches before Vatican II. Very peaceful and beautiful place. The gift shop has an outstanding collection of Catholic gifts.

Our two couples visited this attraction with no knowledge of its significance - we knew nothing of Edith Wharton or her writings (much to our embarrassment.) Our experience there encouraged us to learn more and delve into her literary works, especially Age of Innocence. The admission price was moderate and well worth the information we gained. This attraction may not be to everyone's liking, but it is well worth exploring for most.

Turn Park Art Space opened a month ago in West Stockbridge and I fell in love today. It is a wondrous sculpture park with rolling meadows, a stone maze, beautiful flowers, seats artfully placed for contemplation, an indoor gallery, an amphitheater, and a pond surrounded by granite walls. Art classes once a week for children, playgrounds to come, and charming owner/designers. Go- you will be so glad you did. It's a stone's throw from No. 6 Depot.

Schantz Galleries is first and foremost an art gallery designed to sell art. However, it is worth a trip even if you are not in the market for art. There is always a beautiful selection of art to admire and in many ways, it's like going to a museum! In particular, if you are a Dale Chihuly fan, this is a must see
