7 Days/week 3/meals per day family friendly dining. Nightly specials with "Chef's Specials", too. Great food, wide variety of beverages both with spectacular views of San Vicente Golf course. Homemade pizzas with a wide variety of topping choices. Chef Ben specializes in fresh California cuisine. Many healthy menu choices. Free parking. Live entertainment every Friday and Saturday night - NO cover charge.
Great food, great friendly service, and a nice atmosphere alongside the golf course and in view of the mountains. I was there just for breakfast, but the food and service were perfect.

It's hard to believe that this "hole in the wall" place in Ramona makes the best donuts ever, but they really do. My favorite is the glazed one: not too sweet, melt in your mouth pillow of delishiousness. My kids live the custard filled ones as well. Love KD!

We love the Yogurt Barn. Service and product is superior. I LOVE the root beer floats and only $2.00. We always take our grandson there and he has fun filling up his cup and putting on all the goodies.

The crepe was pretty good, and the coffee too.
We ordered the strawberry and creme. Goos crepe, not too egg-y. The strawberries were fresh, but not quite enough whipped cream. I Would like to try fresh peach when it is in season.
The woman behind the counter could be a littlw friendlier, she seemed peocupied with her smartphone. Nobody came over to ask us how it was. That annoys me.
I get to Ramona now and then, and will stop here again and try another flavor.

Great service and quality food in a country atmosphere is our commitment to you. It means we strive to stay on top of things without needless interruptions. It means a check when you are ready to leave and refills when you need them. It means we work hard to find the freshest ingredients at the best price possible. It means we know your hard earned money has to be earned, not taken for granted. Great service, quality food at an affordable price, it's what Ramona is about, it's what Kountry comfort food is about, and it's the Kountry Kitchen commitment.
My Ramona hotel recommended the Kountry Kitchen for breakfast, so I took a shot.
Very nice food, good service in a downtown older building. Or, I guess really two old stores combined to one.
Eggs cooked just as I asked. Bacon requested "extra crispy...even burnt" and it was pretty close.
It's obviously a local favorite. Plenty locals there.
One other "weird-ism" I thought... When I asked "where's the men's room?" They said "Go through the kitchen and turn right at the back." True :-)
I was a little suprised that four scrambled eggs and bacon was almost $20.
Still good and worth a visit.

Tried out the food. I had a Caesar salad with Shrimp. The food was OK but not perfect. The lettuce did not takste like Romaine, however the wait person insisted that it was from the farm and fresh. It tasted like spinach to me. The...MoreThank you so much for your review. We appreciate your comments and I have brought your review to our management meeting as we take your comments to heart. While visiting my sister in Ramona, we were hungry and she remembered this restaurant and I am glad she did. Not sure how long this place has been here but I had never noticed it before. It is off the main street so unless you turn off on 10th street for some reason you will never see it. The food is by far some of the best authentic Mexican food I have eaten. The portions are large and the flavor of the red chili sauce is great. We had different plates and they were all delicious. Will definitely go back every time I go to Ramona from now on!

We went to D'Carlos on Friday and noticed that on the welcome sign it stated that military and first responders receive 20% off their bill on Fridays as the owners way of saying thank you to those who serve and protects our freedom. I must say that this really touched my heart. (To qualify for the discount you must show military or work ID card to get discount) The food was amazing. The bartender went out of their way to fix a drink I had recently had elsewhere. The server was very attentive and our drinks remained full all evening. The double chocolate walnut cake is enough to feed an entire family. Lip smacking good!!

Great Thai cuisine in a small , but very clean place at the West end of Ramona. They give you the option of choosing the degree of spicy HOTNESS on a scale of 2 to 10.
With 10 being warned that it was something like a nuclear explosion in your mouth, I thought a 5 might be a good number. Fortunately, a woman who was picking up some take out overheard my wife and I talking about the number and she advised that a 4 was more than HOT so we wisely selected that. It turned out to be perfect and plenty hot without being painful. The potions are more than generous and the food was delicious. If you like Thai food...don't miss it.

Three of us stopped for a drink and appetizer here. Wonderful! We had a meat and cheese plate. Plenty to snack on, beautifully presented. Bright server who let one of our party try two different wine tastings before choosing her glass. Lovely place. I've eating lunch and would recommend it. I hear the weekend breakfasts are very good but not gone to any.
