This insures the highest quality and consistency so that every customer at every location gets the same tasty, tender, juicy barbecue. We have developed systems and procedures that allow us to offer you almost fast food speed of service...yet everything is made as you order! We always have plenty...so if you need a big order at the last minute...we have you covered! In an age where most pork barbecue is cut, chopped, or ground by machine...we still hand-pull or "pick" the meat from the bone. Sure it's harder and takes longer...but our "pickers" (as we affectionately call them!) are our best quality control. Their trained and caring touch leaves only the leanest, moistest pork...lightly sauced to let the great hickory flavor burst through in every bite!! Guess you could say...we keep pickin' so you'll keep grinnin' The truth of the matter... Because we are just a "little barbecue joint" ...not near as fancy or as famous as some...we know we must try harder to earn your business. We want to be faster, cleaner, and tastier. Lawler's is our family's favorite barbeque. We have been more times than I can count to the Lewisburg location. We have since moved over an hour away, but we drove there in March to surprise our daughter with her favorite food for her birthday. The prices are great, and the food is even better. Their Brunswick stew is delish, as is their potato salad.

Food is really good here, usually very fresh. I have had times that I go there and it is not open but that is rare. It is convenient, quick and usually clean.

Bakin Cakes not only has baked goods they have ice cream cakes, itty bitz, chocolate covered bacon and when in season they have chocolate covered strawberries. Dawn will also help you with party planning and the catering of appetizers and brunch items.

Our family stopped here on a road trip. We all agreed that it was just an average buffet, nothing special. The service was excellent and the clientele friendly. The fried chicken was dry and the potatoes lumpy. The okra was good as were the rolls.

The burgers are delicious with old fashioned steam softened buns and the burgers are melt in your mouth tender. The grilled onions add extra flavor and the wide choice of other complimentary toppings lets you custom design yours the way that you want it. The fries are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The onion rings are, as well. The frozen custard is creamy and flavorful. The only reason I did not give Hwy 55 a better rating is because of the sporadic service - sometimes you have to flag down your server to get a refill or order dessert.

I suppose it all comes down to what you expect. Having eaten at other La Fuentes around the area, we knew what to expect and were not disappointed in that regard. There is nothing special about the food here. It will come out steaming hot, the plate dangerous to touch, and will taste like all the other small town Mexican food you've ever had. The service is always good and the personnel are nice and aim to please. The busiest restaurants in southern middle Tennessee are the "Mexican" restaurants. For ten bucks or so you can get endless chips and salsa and a big ole plate full of meat, beans, rice, and tortillas. If that's what your are into, La Fuente will not disappoint.

My original review rated this place as average. I have recently started to go back. I order steak, in their 'secret' marinade and I must admit it is consistently tasty. They have really well done fried pickles and chicken fries on the appetizer menu. I will warn that the sandwiches are not as consistent as the steak is at this place. If you are in the mood for a steak in Lewisburg, this is probably worth your while. The atmosphere is much the same as my previous review....lacks a lot to be desired. I've had to bus tables and clean them to have a place to sit a few times....but... that is okay for a small locally owned family run business that gets slammed from time to time. Give it a try if you've not had it, give a retry if its been a while... just order the steak!

This is our after church lunch favorite. Buffet bar is usually nicely stocked with good variety of foods. Most foods are mildly spiced. The spicy wings are good and service is excellent. Restaurant is not much to look at but it is a good place to eat.

China Wok is one of our favorite local restaurants. They offer menu selections and a buffet. The buffet is very well maintained, always with freshly prepared food no matter what time you visit. They have a great variety of sushi made fresh on site, an amazing selection of all of the typical Chinese dishes that you'd expect, soups, a small salad bar with fruits and, for dine in, dip your own ice cream. The prices are extremely reasonable, making it a favorite with families. The owners keep the restaurant very clean and well maintained. There is plenty of seating in booths and tables.

This is your typical Taco Bell chain restaurant. I just happen to like Taco Bell. Service. Is. Fast and friendly. Wide selection of menu items. Central location near other fast food restaurants. Good if you are on a budget.
