This restaurant is committed to regional products and relationships with artisan producers, a mission to which I am long-devoted (and didn't require a lecture about). All is fine with the sublime cheese and charcuterie. But when it comes time to cook, it's necessary to have a trained chef to take care of those beautiful ingredients. Otherwise the handmade pasta and the beautiful local fish are overcooked.

We agreed we found the worst restaurant in Italy. First of all - no english or german menu. The beer was warm, mineral water in plastic bottles and coca cola in cans. We ordered lasagne and salad. Lasagne were a childrenâs portion, overcooked, with no taste and they felt like the were frozen and bought in a supermarket. The salad was bitter and definitely old! And it took them so long to defroze those lasagnas. And we could pay with credit cardâalthough the waiter sent us on the side of the lake to find an ATM. The food was so âgreatâ some of us saw it again later. Not a pleasant experience.

The chiosco overlooks the bay in Lenno close to the ferry terminal. A nice place to relax, enjoy the view. There is also a grass area for sun bathing and a designated swimming area. Staff are friendly and helpful. Excellent spot for a morning coffee or glass of wine.

Having spent 4 days in Lenno and enjoyed everywhere we dined, this place still makes the top of the bill. Situated just off the main promenade by a very short walk, youâll find a truly authentic Italian dining experience.The food is exceptional; great choice on the menu, well priced and fabulously presented. The staff are so friendly and gently humored our poor attempts at speaking Italian. We were made feel at home and wish we had discovered this place before our last night. You wonât be sorry if you stop here to dine! Meraviglioso...
