This small family run restaurant is situated near the station of Ferrara, not the most beautiful part of the city BUT what it lacks with respect to the setting is more than made up for by the quality of the food. So if you find yourself around lunch-time near the train station, instead of just making do with the usual snack why not enjoy some traditional style cooking served in an original way. Very good quality price ratio,

Ottima pizza alle verdure (ho chiesto di non mettere cipolla e peperoni), ben cotta, eseguita con maestria e cotta nel forno a legna, prezzo economico 7 euro, molto grande e ben farcita, servizio veloce, personale gentile, locale grazioso con grande tv e ambiente con gli attrezzi della civiltà contadina. Da ritornare per assaggiare il loro menù.

I've been here with friends and kids on a Sunday at lunch. The place looks old style and simple. At the entrance there is a wide veranda and a place where kids can play with toys. On Sunday it's available also a babysitter, for the rest is all on average.Final bill have been a bit higher then expected, but ok.

Visited La Stalla last night after a busy work day. I'm really glad I did. My colleague and I shared a starter of tasty local cured meats, and then a Risotto and Capellacci as main courses. We drank some beer/water and then ate two desserts, spending â¬45 total.Risotto with mascarpone (creamy Italian cheese), radicchio (a leaf chicory) and crunchy speck (tasty cured meat) was one of the best I've ever eaten, and the Capellacci with honey, almonds and guanciale (tasty cured meat) ordered by my colleague were great also. Quantity was decent as well.Desert was up to par as well, with a delicious Mascarpone cream and an even better Tenerina cake (typical from the Ferrara area). Environment is typical and pleasant, service has been ok. Not formal or fancy, yet nice and efficient (it was a work day, hence place wasn't too crowded). Visited some other place in Ferrara the night before, ranking much higher than La Stalla, and IMHO La Stalla was much better. I'm glad I got an hint about this place from some friends living here, I felt deceived by Tripadvisor not so great feedback this time.

In compagnia di amici siamo venuti in questo ristorante per mangiare la pizza e devi dire che ci siamo trovati bene.Il personale è stato rapido nel servirci, l'impasto della pizza era buono e mi sento di ritornarci prossimamente.

Came here the first time in 2011. I remembered it was a very good pizza with a cheap price. Came back on December 2015 and March 2016, the pizzas are still very tasteful, thin and huge!Bill ridiculous.

Situato in centro a Vigarano Mainarda, mi ci reco quando pernotto da queste parti.Pizzeria da asporto piuttosto angusta, ma tanto ci devi stare lo stretto necessario. Giusto il tempo di prepararla che è davvero poco. Vorrei attendere di più per navigare con il wi-fi. Pizza molto buona, ceci migliorabili, coca in lattina un po' troppo cara. Ragazzi gentili. Ritornerò, ma forse patiró la sete...

We had an outstanding lunch at Al Buongustaio. We opted for the fixed meal which included an amazing antipasto plate of local cold cuts, and some really great stuffed pasta, with a couple different sauces. The proprietor/chef couldn't have been more accomodating and we felt like we had experienced an outstanding meal. Well worth the detour off the Autostrada. There was ample street parking, but beware, the Trip Advisor map is not correct for the location of the restaurant. Drive around the center of town and you will find it. It is worth a little looking.
