Avendo un piccolo appartamento a Pieve di Cadore mi capita spesso di cercare un luogo dove stare in pace con amici e mangiare qualcosa, magari una semplioce pizza. Purtroppo, a differenza di altre aree dolomitiche, ricche di ottimi ristoranti, qui nei dintorni l'offerta non è eccezionale. Da un po' di tempo abbiamo scoperto questa pizzeria un po' fuori mano, proprio sulle rive del lago di Centro Cadore. Si tratta di un locale molto grande, accogliente, arredato modernamente, ma con gusto montano. Abbiamo sempre mangiato ottime pizze, cotte al punto giusto e condite senza risparmio con ingredienti di qualità . Anche il resto è piuttosto buono, compresi i dolci. L'ambiente ampio permette distanze tra i tavoli sufficienti a consentire sempre di chiacchierare tranquillamente, senza dover urlare. Il personale prevalentemente di famiglia è disponibile e gentile.Prezzi molto abbordabili.

Great pizza, local wine and homemade desserts. This was a fabulous find. The owner has been making Neapolitan pizzas for 54 years and they are excellent. Great prices as well. I thoroughly recommend this place.

This is since a few years one of our favourite restaurants in the region. Many local dishes. Very good pizza as well. Strong in its over-all quality as well: antipasti, desserts, wines.... The only thing I do regret, is that often the back curtains are closed and for this reason you miss the nice view on the mountains...

We drove the half kilometer from the road to Cortina d'Ampezzo into Caralte, having seen a sign for the Pizzeria Antelao. A little out of the way and we didn't expect much, but we were truly surprised. The waiter was a truly nice person. After some advice and explanations, my wife ordered the pappardelle al ragu di cervo, a prototypical Ladino specialty. I had porcini ravioli with mushroom and truffle sauce. I groaned with pleasure at every bite. Possibly the best "primo" I've had in Italy, or anywhere else. "You know you're groaning," said my wife. I hadn't known, and I couldn't stop myself afterwards, either. The prices were certainly reasonable.

mi son trovato a passare lo scorso agosto per Domegge di Cadore e mi son fermato a mangiare con mio figlio e mia moglie in questo ristorante. Beh, un'autentica sopresa molto positiva la pizza che è davvero gustosa e con un impasto buonissimo. Servizio gentile, cortese ed efficiente considerato che in quel momento il ristorante era al completo. Mia mogllie ha preso un primo piatto e mio figlio la polenta con il formaggio. Anche questi sono risultati essere buoni. Consigliato

Location d'effetto immersa nel verde cadorino e con le prelibate ciaspe che stanno aumentando di anno in anno facendo proseliti devoti. E che dire della pizza alla Nutella come dessert? Provare per credere.

a delicious pizza made by the master Luca. excellent cuisine with many prepared foods "House Hand" and excellent service.Sometimes the wait is a bit long, but since there are no pre-cooked meals, and since everything is freshly prepared .. worth the wait.

Came twice to this one, and the first time the portions were small but the food was good, service adequate, but it was expensive - 70 Euros for wine/water/antipasti + 1 primi and 1 secondi. Second night the bread came with a gnat sitting on it and the bread was stale, so I replaced it with an adjacent tables bread bowl. The table was empty, BTW. Staff noticed and promptly replaced the bread and took our gnat infested one away. From there the whole experience went downhill, I think because the maitre d was peeved I had rejected his bread plate. Had a similar meal and waited forever for the bill. Finally left leaving adequate cash on the table. Note the waitresses, a pair, are from Ghana and speak perfect English. So the owner sent one of these sweet waitresses after me to collect more Euros. Still no bill was presented and to not hassle this young Ghanaian I just paid it. When I asked her if the owner was a problem child she admitted he is. Never going back and hope this review saves you from a similar experience.

We had a hungry crowd and struggled to find a Monday lunch spot - until we saw La Piazzetta. Easy to park and not a detour if your on a road trip. The service was good and the menu interesting and varied with some seasonal options. English a little patchy and menus only in Italian. Prices were very fair and we left full and happy. Would certainly stop off again.

we went there on our first night in Calalzo,,,, great atmoshere ,,, everybody seems to know each other...very homey! we ordered wine and then each of us ordered the pizza with the thin crust I have grown to love...so tasty and fresh ingredient...after we finish off with a Limoncella...good night indeed...
