My girlfriend and I ate here pool tonight and found it absolutely lovely. A true Italian in the suburbs of Glasgow. The menu was simple yet satisfying. The food was lovely and massive portions. The staff were attentive.and Very friendly. Can't recommend this place enough

Nice restaurant.We went here with family and friends to celebrate 70years of our aunt. She wanted to have pizza and no better choice we could've made.There are the "traditional pizzas" available (Margherita, Prosciutto e funghi, Capricciosa etc). but you can also find unique ones and the list is endless.Service was fast. The place was rather full for a Wednesday dinner so it is advisable to book.Ample parking space and easily accessible. I had the Fonduta Pizza (mixed cheese, with Speck and mushrooms). Simply Delicious. We crowned the evening with a dessert. I had an amazing Tiramisu with Gallarate Amaretti. If you are around MIlan Malpensa area, this is surely a not to miss stop.

Had dinner here while staying in the local area. The food was delicious and the staff are excellent. Our waiter spent time with us to explain certain dishes and he recommended some of his favourites. We took his advise and we were not disappointed. The food is very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!!

having been to Varese on a business trip, I was invited for a lunch by my hosts . We drove to Gallarate and went to I GELSI. First imperssions on the outside are not very welcoming but once inside, you enter in a very nice place with very nice educated people serving. Try pasta with vongole. It is so nice. Even the crab and muscles were nice. Wine is great too with a very good selection. I hope you guys manage to try this place although it is not in a touristic place.But if you happen to be driving in that area (GALLARATE), make sure you make a stop at 'I GELSI'.

decor lacking , but pizza and ingriedients used are great. We visited 4 times and pizza was always top notch....a bit more selection would be nice though.

We do not speak any Italian, so our host got their one staff who does speak English to help us out. He not only helped us but he took the time to explain every ingredient and helped us decide which to get. They only serve pizza here and it's really good. They cook their pizza in their brick oven for about 90-180 seconds, everything is fresh and great tasting. And the best part--- they let us modify and make our own pizzas. I have this place 4 instead of 5 because the pizza that I actually got off their menu, was unsatisfactory. The pizzas we made were incredible! Thank you for your help Mr. Pizza guy!

It was soo tasty I would definitely recommend this place. Davide was the cherry on top of the cake for offering us Limoncello at the end of the dinner, he was very friendly and amazing customer service here. Small choice of pizzas but very good ingredients and elaborated menu. Absolutely loved it.

A wonderful place run by young people with a great taste all the way! The pizza is marcellous, more on the Napoletana style, not so thin crusted, but very soft and full of flavour. They serve different kinds of doughs depending on the toppings chosen,classic,whole wheat and the house special. All the ingredients are very genuine and fresh, all blended in perfect pairings that will tickle and satisfy even the finest palate. La Mimosa is a nice little friendly restaurant conveniently located closed to the church square.Atmosphere and place are comfortable, I have personally found the service managed by our waitress very good, she was professional explaining all the recipes, precise and extremely fast to serve.We all chose different dishes and they weregood despite with no particular tastes or characteristics except for the vegetables fresh and well done.Pasta alla gricia or matriciana was not lokalike the original and there was not wood oven for the Pizza.Desserts were accordingly to the rest of the dinnerGoog afternoon Larai want to say very thankyou for your reference and we hope to have you as a guest again, but i want to specify that we having the wood oven to cook our pizzas and i'm happy to show you if you will.best regardsMatteo P.
