It is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena in the region of Emilia-Romagna, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Ravenna. Cesenatico's port canal was surveyed and drawn by Leonardo da Vinci at the request of Cesare Borgia, as part of his plans to fortify the nearby town of Cesena.

We were in a hurry, and the staff were understanding and attentive to our needs. In minutes we got two very tasteful pizzas and a very nice caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. If you are not that hungry, 2 pizzas for three people are enough. Recommended.

La Cuccagna is a family run business with great service and excellent food. The staff are young, speak English very well, and are very friendly. All the local Italians come for the pizza, so if you're looking for great pizza and a place to people watch, this is it. I ordered the lasagna and it was by far the best plate of lasagna i've ever had. It was light, filling, and very tasty. Make sure you save room for dessert though. The tiramisu is a classic!

Arrived Saturday evening, 21h, several tables free. Waited at the entrance to be seated. Waiter noticed us, but left us standing for 5 minutes?! Two other people walked in straight to a table and wear seated by this same waiter. Nothing happened so we left for another restaurant.

Although the restaurant might have a better atmosphere and a more intimate setting (too bright and open), the food was really good, fresh and tasty. We had black pasta with an octopus that was something different and interesting to try out. The mussels and Frito Misto vas excellent and the pizza was big and very good. Prices are fair (about 10 - 15 for the main dish, and 6 - 9 euro for pizza). The hosts treated us with a sweet snack (cookie) and brandy - which was a very nice gift at the end of the evening.

By the train station for Cesenatico, this Osteria had a very nice fixed price menu at lunch for â¬12 each. The soup (pasta e fagiole) was good, the gnocchi with ragu as well. Roasted rabbit was flavorful (perhaps too much rosemary), the pork-chop flavorful but dry. Very friendly and informative staff. Would return here.

Great family style place right at the end of the beach close to the Grand Hotel Da Vinci and the beach by the canal end.Exceptional service very helpful for the children and great service generally. Superb pasta and fish.Nice wine list. Gets very busy during evenings.

We came for a quick visit and found a place at the entrance. Friendly service and huge portions convinced us to return. One negative: at least two waiters were chewing gums during service and even taking orders - this seemed strange to us.

Been at Margheri for dinner with my family! Newly opened pizzeria in Cesenatico, beautiful restaurant with wood fired pizza oven. The owner is very kind and passionate for his job. Unique experience we had pizza mordadella e pizza burrata to die for, cold cuts selection was good. We came for dinner to this wonderful restaurant on two levels. Similar to our visit three years ago all service personnel was again very friendly, attentive and helpful.
