La pasta della pizza è ben fatta e ben cotta...ma la farcitura lascia molto a desiderare...peccato. Io non sono solito scartare i locali vuoti...certo che di sabati sera in una località di mare...difficile trovarne...questo era uno di quelli e si capisce

It is really the best place to have classic, italian pizza. There are plenty of different tastes to try. Pizza is really delicious, staff is welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere. I visited this place twice during 8 day stay in Marina di Pietrasanta and both visits were great. Place gets crowdy in the weekends, so remember to book a table!

A pleasant welcome in a relaxing atmosphere of a summer garden terrace. The terrace was full so they put up an extra table under the blossoming trees. Their english is not the best but their friendliness and eagerness to please the guest combined with our 5 words of italian and the language of gestures made it all good. They took care that we got the waitress who handled us as good as possible language wise. And she was the best in every other sense as well.The muscles soup was full of taste and perfectly seasoned in its simplicity. And the black pasta with cod and shrimps was just amazing. The buffalo pizza with prossiutto crudo my friends ate was so good I wanted to come back next evening and have my own and not just a bite. So the next day I had a pizza and a pasta for first time in my life. Spaghetti with seafood was an excellent start to the pizza to follow. Millefolie with the green apple ice cream and a chees cake with a strawberry topping will not dissapoint. We stayed at the lovely Locanda Al Colle up the road and this was recommended by our host Riccardo. Nothing to look at but I'm still dreaming of those porchini mushroom with buffalo mozzarella pizzas. And the price of this gourmet experience, 8 euro!?! Do yourself a favour and get there next time you're within a hundred miles of Versillia. Also the owners were welcoming and wanted to chat even though our Italiano is woeful!

Arrived late in Vareggio and was brought to this causal restaurant just outside town. Its location look causal by fields of crops and just along the roadside. But once insde, you will be impressed with the big wood fired oven.We had several starters incuding a very nice pan filled with prawns, squid, mussels in a hot and delcisous broth and had pieces of bread dipped inside. Very very fresh and deliciousNext we have 2 big servings for sometthing called Tortelli which is like a revioli filled with some minced meat and cooked in a beef sauce. Again this is tasted very good.The last dish was a black pasta cooked with garlic and processed lobster meat. This is well good and the garlic gives it a nice punch and the lobster meat tasted average, the overall taste make up for it.

Pleasent evening spent n Pizza55, where the pizza is actually good (I can highlight the signature preparation with blue cheese and pepperoni and the out-of-menu with anchovies and zucchini flowers).The personnel is really gentle and professional even when the restaurant is very full.Local is huge and there are tables in the outside as well, but I suggest to make a reservation.Pietrasanta historical city center is really close.Good job, I hope I'll be back again,Hello and Thanks for your contribution! We loved this place! Service was good and the food was tip-top! We were happily surprised by the really fancy food preperation and had a very nice evening. Also the neighbouring pizza 55 is like a brother to the restaurant and serves really nice pizza. Both are worth a good visit.

Ristorante in piena campagna (non facilissimo da raggiungere), accogliente con camerieri gentili. Eravamo in vacanza a Viareggio e lo abbiamo trovato su Slow Food, attirati da una specialita' un po' originale, il risotto al piccione. Lo abbiamo trovato ottimo e ci siamo fatti una simpatica chiacchierata con Simone sulle razze "ortodosse" di riso per risotti. Abbiamo poi diviso un fritto di coniglio e pollo, tipica specialita' della Versilia. Valido. Torneremo la prossima volta che saremo da quelle parti, anche perche' abbiamo visto passare tra i tavoli pietanze che avevano un'aria assai attraente. Consigliato. F.Fransoni
