We were looking for lunch and walked around in this dull town, been there before and had the same experience , but heading for last stop before Italy and very hungry, this pizzeria came out of the blue, locals were there so we chimed in and ordered big delicious pizzas and white cold wine plus the usual 2 bottles of sparkling water.It was certainly a relief to be here, brand new joint and working, staff was young but sufficient , in Barbarina di Mugello they now have a place to eat, kudos.

Four of us looking for a meal at 8.30 pm on a Sunday came across this restaurant after finding almost everything closed in the town. It was a very nice surprise, food was varied, prices were extremely moderate and the service was efficient and pleasant. Each of us had entree and Main of a variety and were all impressed with the quality of our food. We had beer, wine and soft drinks and they too were cheap. We were the last to leave and the staff were really nice to us despite our lack of Italian. They also provided an English language menu.All in all a positive experience and I'm happy to recommend Bonaugo Ristorante Pizzeria.

Lucky to find this rather large Pizzeria opposite the school & police station. Pizza's were thin crust, and really good quality local produce toppings, esp buffalo mozzarella. Kids especially well catered for, and good pasta. Service was good, & waitress tried hard to assist with our lack of expert Italian.

As other reviews say, this is a fantastic restaurant with children and whilst there is not a specific children's menu, they are very accommodating and will make a variety of pasta dishes. Plenty of toys in the children play area also. We initially found this restaurant as we thought it served Pizza, but being lunch time we were informed this is only in the evening. The food overall was very good however and the staff friendly.

Located on a quite busy road but calm on the terrace behind the house. Only Italians which creates a lovely atmosphere. Requested trio di pasta for four and the owner immediately proposed wild boar, mushrooms and green beans. Had lovely chianti with it for only 19 Euro, followed by double expresso for a mere total of 60 Euro. We all loved it!

Great atmosphere with diners of all ages, always packed so booking advisable. The service is excellent - the waiters always aware of every table. We had a huge plate of home cured and sliced ham with pillows of crispy lightly fried pasta and creamy cheese followed by the most tender, flavourful fillet steak in pepper sauce for one and spaghetti al ragout for another, red wine and mineral water which came to just under £30! Excellent.

Booked as a party of 8. This place is right up in the mountains and a beautiful setting. As suggested it is a farm which takes only pre booking and I thing the minimun number is 6 or 8. We were shown into their "private" back room although there was another room set up for a party of 12.. We were served wine, beers and soft drinks straight away. They a secetion of dishes were put on the table for all of us to share. They were all very well presented and very tasty. Typical Italiene country good but of a very high standard - simple but good. Cold hams, cheeses, pates, and other delights. These starters were ample and we could hardly eat all of them and we were 8 hungry golfers! The best was to come. Now hot food was placed on the table to share. Chicken, sausages, pork, beef and other dishes. All very tasty. Once again ample food. There was cheese and homemade deserts to follow. What an outstanding evening. We had been to 5 different restaurants in this area and this was the very very best. And all for 26 Euros each. This experince should not be missed by eanyone in the area. The whole family looked after us. What a experience!! Well done.

This was an incredible meal with amazing service. The ravioli was incredible, we had it with duck, wild boar and oil/cheese. All were incredible. Also the tagliatelle with wild boar. 4 different pizzas, all incredible. The only complaint is they are only open for dinner Thursday-Sunday so we can only go once!! They are open for breakfast and lunch and the bar is open until 8pm the other nights. Highly recommend.
