Really delicious focaccia and cheese filled fry bread. I would eat this every single day! We also ate the chickpea flatbread which was very good. A must if you are in Monterosso.

The antipasto mare was delicious and the view is breathtaking. A shame that all the rest was a great flop.Dear sir, we regret that we consider rude and slow, do not think of it been in any way, please remember that it is in our interest to be courteous and fast, otherwise we'd still be here after so many years. You yourself said he enjoyed our starters and for this we are grateful, as far as the pasta which he said was overcooked I have doubts because we serve always al dente, the fact remains that there may have been a mistake and if so I would be sorry, but in this case if he had said would immediately replace the food with our apologies.

We went to this place to get some drinks before dinner. The view is great, and it's a nice place to have a drink and enjoy the sun, while overlooking the sea. The waitress was also very friendly and patient and they bring a small selection of chips, tacos and even small sandwiches for free if you order drinks!

Quite a small restaurant and we had to wait outside for a table to become free but the manager was good at spotting the order in which people had arrived and the wait was about 20 minutes. Enjoyed the pizzas and the beer but we did find more choice elsewhere

A hotel recommendation landed us here.First in the restaurant at 7 and surrounded by caravans, we were immediately suspicious. But we persisted, with the help of an English speaking waitress, who was helpful. Broad ranging menu, but no specifically gluten free options for our sister. The wine was good, local and modestly priced. Our starter dishes and main courses were good. But by 7.30 the restaurant was full, with numerous babies, accompanied by a few adults and at least 4 or 5 dogs. Absolutely forbidden in Australia and Canada under health and safety laws! So, a quiet dining experience this was NOT. But then, the crescendo really stared to build to the level of chaos. Cats started to walk by confidently outside the window and the dogs went berserk , with a cocophany of barking that made conversation impossible. We had passed at least half a dozen attractive restaurants en route, and we regretted having passed them by. The food was good but the ambience , the location and the cats ,dogs and screaming children was not god for our mood or digestion!!!!

This was the perfect place to end the day after a hard days walking. We needed a simple pizza accompanied by some good inexpensive house wine... and thatâs what we got. Service was a little stiff when we arrived but our Italian efforts were appreciated and they soon warmed up!

The pizza was good. It wasn't that warm when we were in Levanto so the heated terrace was welcome as well. Service was good. It's value for money, without it being really exquisite. But I did see a lot of locals using the take away service, so that's a good sign as well.

Ate at this place last year and was satisfied. Wanted to try it again. Had a regular pizza with ham and my partner had a pizza with ham and vegetables. Good pizza. Quick service, but not a place to stay for hours. It is a very popular place with lots of takeaway.

Osteria Antica Guetta offers wonderful food and service in a beautiful setting overlooking the Ligurian Sea. We dined here for lunch with another couple in late May before the start of their High Season. We had the restaurant practically to ourselves and were provided excellent personal service by one of the restaurantâs three managers. The manager who waited upon us had worked at the restaurant for 15 years, spoke excellent English and made several excellent dining suggestions for us. The restaurant is a converted family home which is quite old. The interior is intimate, imaginative and unique (photos attached). The ceiling of the main dining room is partially made of timbers salvaged from local shipwrecks (photo attached). Our server recommended a local white wine, Albarola, which was quite good. Among the dishes we ordered were Beef Filet with Potatoes; Cuddle Fish with Shaved Celery and Squid Ink; Grilled Swordfish with Sautéed Basil Leaves and Fennel; and Seafood Pasta with Mussels, Octopus and Tomato (photos attached). The dishes were all beautifully presented and served with great pride. Everything was excellent and tasted wonderful. A very small nit, one member of our party would have liked a little less salt on their pasta, otherwise, every bite was a culinary joy. Several other remarkable notes, we enjoyed the low-key jazz music played in the background, the bathrooms were spotless and the women in our party were compelled to remark that all of the waiters were extremely handsome. Finally, we wish to respond directly to a recent review(?) entitled âHorrible Food and Service.â Our experience completely contradicts this review and our own extremely positive review is based upon over 140 dining experiences in over 75 cities in Western Europe, North America and Central America. Our bottom line, if you are looking for a great meal and excellent service in a wonderful setting overlooking the sea, this restaurant is clearly worth a try. Seems like we were an inconvenience with our waitress with that nasty attitude that italians can sometimes get. It seemed like we were causing her too much work! Unfriendly service. The 'signature pizzas' are pricey in comparison to others on the menu, but I they are good not doubt. The place was busy and I found our pizzas to be cold when delivered by another waiter. I will have to say that the pizza is very good, but with the service and attention that we received.... I can do without that part of the experience and will make me think twice about coming back. I ordered the prize winning Gola Pizza which named as an ingrediente crushed pine nuts.... I saw only a few.
