By far the best pizza and focaccia I have had in a while! Friendly take out place with a lot of choice. We tried everything to eat it on the pier in Laigueglia: cheese focaccia, farinata, pizza. It was sooooooooo good! And inexpensive too!

The beachfront restaurants we looked at during our outing to Andora were all SO pricey, until we stopped here. The food was great, the prices most reasonable. Service, while polite, was just a bit inattentive. Could have used some air conditioning....

We visited la guieglia on a thursday evening and found this little gem perched in a very picturesque square. The service was not only very friendly but also efficient practically no waiting from order to getting the main course on the the table. I would highly recommend the branzino ala liguria a ligurian recipe. Simply Excellent!!

Il Pirata was recommended by our host for the quality of its food. We liked watching all the local families around us enjoying a multi-generational meal together. We were theonly Americans there. My dinner was an excellent tagliatelle verdure with mushrooms, calamari and white truffles - a rare treat! Their tiramisu alle nocciola is the best I ever had.

It is an attractive place, both inside and out. Our waiter was extremely kind and professional. The wine selection was not extensive, but there were fairly priced examples of a variety of northern Italian wines. The portions at lunch were large and our enrees competently, if simply cooked.Sitting outside in the shade was a pleasant way to spend the afternoon. I wish I could be more enthusiastic about the food, but truthfully there was nothing remarkable. I believe the quality of the meat and shellfish were fine, but we prefer more style and originality. Perhaps that is too much to ask for in an informal beach town with more cookie cutter vacation apartments than you can count. Andora is the "end of the line" for buses heading to and from Savona and Imperia Provinces and the place you drive through to get on or off the Autostrada. The locals may be satisfied, but we would rather press on.

I had a good dinner with fresh Pizza and a shrimps cocktail plus mozzarella at this place. Everything tasted good and definitely better than average. The price performance ratio is really good and therefore I can totally recommend this place for good italian food.

The best pizza place in town, place Is buzzing with activity, pizza flying out of the door or on table, good crust and toppings, together with a reasonally priced Chianti, seafood risotto on the table next to us also looked very nice. Quick and friendly service and reasonably priced overall.
