Just outside the old town, this is a neighbourhood restaurant mainly frequented by Italians but probably used for something a little bit more special. The owner really takes pride in his restaurant. Reservations necessary. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. A very enjoyable experience

Small place not far from cathedral. Friendly owners who explained the 'histrory' of the typical puccia leccese, the ingredients of this sort of sandwich taken into the fields by farmers, so the typical puccia contains mortadella, different cooked vegetables in different 'sections' of the puccia, anchovies and special 'ricotta forte'. If you don't like any of the ingredients you can leave it out as they prepare it fresh for you when you arrive, The puccia is eaten slightly warmed/toasted, and costs 5 euros. If you want a light lunch in Lecce historical centre this is a good option in my opinion. Local craft beer also available and a few seats inside and out.

Bakery And Restaurant That Use Only Fresh Local Products Based On Fish, Meat And Vegetables. Sweet And Salty.
Friendly warn welcome awaits, fun local restaurant (which is a bakery during the day). Comfortable modern interior with some amusing quirky additions. Food is excellent. we had a mixed ceviche platter to begin and pasta for mains. There are some excellent deserts on display, presumably made by the bakery during the day, which are well worth leaving room for! Excellent wine recommendations.

Gourmet restaurant that combines tradition and innovation in a refined and welcoming location. Wine list varied and cured. Meat, fish, vegetables, homemade desserts.
I was embarrassed I recommended this restaurant to my friends. No sparkling wine while selecting the menu set the tone for a disaster ahead. Expecting fine dining we booked the traditional tasting menu. Ritz biscuits as one of the appetizers! Over cooked pasta followed potato balls and potato cake. The only saving grace was the wine. Poorly trained young waiter. The chef in fairness offered dinner on the house but what an evening a real shame!

Italian cuisine. 3 Rane offers a fine dining version of traditional italian dishes. Every dishes is cooked express with top quality and, when possible, organic and biologic ingredients. Maurizio Raselli is an 'artisan chef', he chooses on daily basis the s
We just spent 3 weeks in Italy and dined at a number of mid and high range restaurants each night and most days for lunch. My husband and I rate this restaurant as our number one choice for a number of reasons:- the host/waiter's (Giovanni) service was impeccable, the bread was all freshly made and delicious. We opted for the a la carte menu and each dish was fantastic. The price was very, very reasonable. We also had a great Puglian red Primitivo wine, very good and very reasonably price. Only 6 tables. You can see the creativity and care that goes into the food. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Rather intimidating amount of staff meet you, but they were very friendly and helpful. Meat and fish is charged per kilo, slightly confusing menu, which needed explaining. Exceptionally good steak on a hot slate, papaer thin veal wrapped around pine nuts, raisins and cheese delicious. We returned here twice, great desert, and good seating outside. Very nice wine and beer selection.

All fans of Salento have to taste our products. Here you can taste cold cuts, chopping board with "capocollo" and a lot of cheese, bruschetta, puccia, good Apulian wine and much more...
If you enjoy trying local produce this small bottega is the place to visit in Lecce. They stock a huge range of local wines and beers which can be bought by the glass as well as the bottle. The have a small deli and make a great selection of sandwiches using only local cheeses and meats which work really well with the wines. They also stock local biscuits, pasta, spreads and pottery that are ideal as gifts. The staff are friendly and helpful.

In our restaurant, thanks to the accurately selected raw materials and the creativity of our young chefs, we experiment new culinary techniques linked to the local traditions of the flavours from Salento. The menus vary according to the season depending o

If you're looking for a genuine taste of the Salento region of Puglia, you won't find better than Masseria Melcarne. The location itself is spectacular. A restaurant in the shadow of a medieval tower, surrounded by fields of beautiful olive trees. The first indication that you're somewhere dripping with authenticity is the clientele. All Italian. All locals. All very hungry. I strongly suggest starting your meal with the antipasti before ordering primi or secondi. The antipasti are delicious and plentiful. Endless plates will be piled onto your table, each containing simple but exquisitely prepared dishes of Cucina Salentina. The egglant parmegiana is as good as you'll taste anywhere on the planet and the pittule (best described as little savory donuts) will blow your mind. Assuming you have room for pasta or a main course, you won't be disappointed. There's a pride at Melcarne that you can taste in every mouthful. This is a family-run restaurant, and every guest is (for the duration of the meal at least) part of that family. If you're buying extra virgin olive oil on your trip to Puglia, you won't find better than the golden nectar they produce here. An adorable and (very) filling experience. If you're staying in Lecce or the Salento, it's worth firing up the GPS to make the trip to Masseria Melcarne.
