Wherever else you eat in Verona, it will be a serious omission if you do not try Cafe Carducci. A small family run restaurant, the very friendly owners Stefano and Benadetta, along with the other chef, create masterpieces from their small kitchen. The wine list is extensive, especially with Amarones. Our group tried two during one of our meals there and agreed that the first bottle, reasonably priced as these things go, was the best Amarone we have ever tasted. Whatever else you order, if you do not have at least one plate of gnocchi with black truffles, you will forever regret it. Ethereal, light as clouds, I have eaten it twice and plan on having some again when my wife and I return in a few days for our 30th anniversary meal. One last suggestion-whatever else you have for dessert (and donât even think about passing on it), try the pastry that Benedetta bakes that tastes like a crisp crumbly coffee cake. Yummy. Go there soon. Enjoy. You will not be disappointed.

i have been in this restaurant several times. I must to say that it is an amazing place, warm and cozy. The food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and the service was excellent attentive, The portion size of the meals were very generous. Everything was divine. I would recommend 'I Caprini' to everyone visiting.

It is not like me to write something without getting paid for it. But dinner at Dari in Verona demands a blurb. From the amuse-bouche of Parmigiana cheese to the sorbetto, our meal tonight exceeded all expectations. Service, the welcoming spirit that filled the dining room in the XIV century palazzo, and the simplicity of the dishes made our last night here more than memorable. If youâre looking for fast eats along the trendy tourist-filled piazzas, look elsewhere. Dari is fine dining and worth every euro. My father always told me you donât go on vacation to save money or lose weight. He was right.

Got a great welcome. Most helpful with menu choice. Wine was served by Simone with 'Slainte'...impressive. All courses we selected (and extra) served in style. All so tasty. Topped off at the end with a beautiful liqueur. So pleased we chose here. If you want a touch of class in Verona......go no further. We visited ristorante Al Maglio for a dinner and were very satisfied. It is located outside of San Martino Buon Albergo in a peaceful and quiet surrounding. Interior of the restaurant is nice, typical Italian. The food was excellent, fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the fish. We also liked the house wine.

We went to this restaurant for lunch and evening meal both times it was excellent. The lunch and evening menus where the same. My wife had the best prawn spaghetti for a long time, I had swordfish ( although called something else on the menu)?The house white wine was exceptional, you also get an hors d oeuvre selection with the meal. This I think is a small family run restaurant about 400m from the Musella Wine, the outdoor restaurant is in a gazebo. Wold recommend for food and price about Eur 25 per head.

This is the best restaurant near to the Best Western in San Martino.It does a good range of standard Italian food, and an enormous list of pizza choices. A friend of mine invited us there for dinner. Nice and tidy place, good and friendly service, parking just outside the premises.Nothing remarkable about the dishes we ate; sea-food combination was served on a lettuce bed with crushed ice, which after few minutes melted and made the whole dish content almost floating.

Very good offer of food and wines and excellent service. The restaurant is located in a commercial zone and caters to the people working there. In the evening, it is visited by locals who enjoy the very good food and the tasty wines.So, this is a place to have a very good meal at reasonable prices but not for a candle light dinner.We had antipasti, cold cuts, pasta and also meat dishes which were all of excellent quality. Every year we travelling around in Valpolicella to buy wine, and last week we visited Sapore!
