The restaurant was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and pleasant!I understand that this establishment is known for its steak, but we only ate the pizza.We tried pizza at several places during our stay in Sicily (Marina di Ragusa, Ragusa, Modica, and Noto) but I must admit the pizza here was merely average. We would definitely return to try something else off the menu, but just not the pizza.Again the staff was super friendly and they deserve a visit!

Two seconds after we sit, we got a seven great appetizers and one liter of red wino. Cheese, salami, vegetables, rolled pig neck with bacon, salty pies, olives. Then came pasta with dried tomatoes, ravioli with ricotta, mixed meat in a Sicilian sauce. For desert canoli. We thought that was the end but there came a coffee and grapa. If you are really hungry and want to get some more fat on your body, Colle Del Sole is right place. It was tasty and all that for only 17 ⬠per person.

the Ammare Restaurant is also a Lido, you can benefit to seat in the terrace with a marvelous view of the sea and the village of Sampieri. they serve mediterranea cucine but they review a little bit the original recipes, the result is great. the menu offer a good choice of fish food (I suggest the calamari e seppie) and a good wine selection not easily to find in other restaurant in that area. the service is excellent ant the owner nice. it's fantastic to eat in front of the sea, I suggest lunch time to benefit of the view. I've been there on April 23rd
