Home made pasta, home made EVRYTHING, I loved the place....first to start is small restaurant where the Famiglia is taking care everything....they cook, they buy, they choose, they serve, they do everything and you can stay hourss!sss!!! I was walking and jump into a store in the corner of Via e Bicocchi and I saw what they where selling in their store, wines, cold cuts, food to go, etc....then we start talking to the owner and he says, we can serve you in our restaurant, next door!!! HEVEN was open for us!!! 7 tables, small restaurant....the door to the kitchen was open...of course I got close to it...and I said I STAY HERE!!! I want everything....we start with a very nice mortadela, Toscana prosciutto the best!!! Toscana Cheese!! Toscana Wine!!! Toscana EVerything!! pasta, the best home made pasta I had in my life!!!!!!!! we will back in March!!!!!Grazie Mille!!!!!!!!

We should congratulate the owners of this little gem for the courage and skill demonstrated in transforming an old road stop tavern into one of the most sophisticated yet genuine restaurants in the region. However, in aiming high, they come short of perfection, and somehow mismatch ambitions and delivery. Let's talk about the after taste of the wines fetched in remote regions and proudly offered in their cellar? About the joy sprung from fine ingredients mixed in surprising fashion? OK. Then let's talk about fellow patrons smoking next table? Cigars?! So strong it can be smelled inside? And preventing any chance of enjoying the breeze of the Tuscan countryside? Beyond the letter of the Italian law, they should just forbid smoking, just like they would probably refuse to serve a well done T-bone. But... Can't evidently control the dark side... Mr Hyde lives in the tobacco store which is part of the premises! Too bad, I feel compelled to rate this excellent restaurant only four stars, leaving the fifth as a reminder to do better. And I'll go back and check it every time I'll come around here. Just like you should do

I was here for dinner with a friend. The location is perfect: great view especially at sunset.Staff is extremely polite, and I would like in particular to thank Paola cause I think she's really an added value. Perfect in every moment!We were definitely hungry and we had a full dinner:2 starters (1 Carpaccio Angus + 1 Misto mare)2 first courses (2 Paccheri in salsa)2 second courses (1 Grigliata pesce + 1 Tagliata tonno)2 desserts (1 mousse + 1 bavarese)1 bottle of wine (Merotto Rosa)Total price 120 Euros... not a lot... but:- The Angus Carpaccio arrived with many fruits on the plate, including raspberries with mould on them. In any case the dish was a bit "too fruity" to be Angus- Tuna (large portion!) was composed by two different pieces , with a very different cut and taste- Grilled fish was not properly washed (some sand was still there)- The Champagne Bavarese didn't taste like ChampagneAs a final evaluation I think that something must be changed in the kitchen... every dish looked great, but the taste was not at the same level (other restaurants in Follonica offer higher quality food at 30% less of the price).BTW, wine (Merotto grani rosa di nero) was really a positive surprise, suggested!Dear guest,thanks for the overall positive feedback. In any case I would like to clarify some details:- tuna is a single tuna slice of yellow fins quality and comes from a single piece that is cut after the (mild) cooking.- I can not imagine sand in a fish that is not a mollusk, it is practically impossible.- the Champagne Bavarese is a dessert created from scratch like all our desserts. The cooking of the champagne evaporates the alcohol and remains the actual aftertaste of the same. You should not think about eating a mouthful of solid champagne but simply feel the aroma and the touch that characterizes this type of drink. I think this is a personal taste.Finally it is unclear the statement of having to change something in the kitchen despite its declaration the dishes looked good but not very tasty. I mean...what should we change? We cook lightly without too much load the flavors just to not cover the genuine taste of food, those who love more savory can add a pinch of salt but the dishes are still simple and not heavy.All the bestAlessandra

I'm really amazed, we booked the restaurant just because it is closed to our hotel (golfo del sole) but I can clearly state it was the best fish meal I had in the past ten years. I travel very frequently, I eat at least 100 times every year in restaurant in many different places and countries and it was really a pleasant surprise this meal. I was with my family and we all really enjoyed it. Clearly a place I'd recommend to anyone who love fish food

We went there for Dinner with some friends. The menu is only in Italian, but the service was very friendly, so we managed to order. The Bisteca Fiorentina was perfect (rare to medium), also the fish and the noodles with ragout. The Petra winery is very close, but they served delicious wine from a smaller local vinery.

We'v been here for 1 week in july 2013. We got the recomandation from our apt. Borgio degli Olivi with reduced price for sunbeds and sun umbrela. The beach as the water was top clean (only water was a bit too cold, but refreshing). But the biggest surprise for us was the restaurant. They offer a quite large number of dishes mostly seafood (fried, with pasta...), salads and great deserts. Owner as the staff are very nice and pleasent, speak qute good english, they can also describe the dishes. We joined every day a lunch here and our kids loved it too. Try the fried mixture of seafood anf vegetables or pastawith fresh tuna. The lemon sorbet or cheese cake with fruits or nutela were great finale of our lunch or dinner. You will love it. If you are near it's worth to go there. You will be not dissapointed for sure. And I do not eat the seafood normaly, but here I couldn't stop to eat it. Thank you for beeing your guests for this nice week. "Meglio il Voglio" is the motto of the restaruant and it is as it is written on the t-shirts of the staff. If you dont speak italian put it in to the translator, then you will undestand. See you there next year, maybe?

We regularly visit this area of Italy and think this restaurant is a real 'find'. The food is fabulous and changes regularly. The couple who own and run the restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful with what to choose. Nice touches included free coffees with lovely home made mouthwatering, melting biscuits and limoncello or grappa. The aircon is welcome when its humid, and made a wonderful change from so many of the beach restaurants that feel a little like seafront fast food places, where you are rushed to eat so they can fit in someone else after you. At Tiramestoli the table is yours for the evening so you can relax and savour every lovely mouthful. It is excellent value for money as well, including the wines where they have a good range but not too pricey.

beautiful location in an agricultural land above the Gulf of Baratti with breathtaking views and olive trees and vines in nice presence. nice restaurant in marine style and rustic at the same time (without tablecloth in full post service). very kind and professional service. the menu of meat and fish reduced but with seasonal products and good quality. our dishes were good but the egg very bland (I ate the same dishes in many high-end restaurants). even desserts are good and well presented ... in general an nice evening in good atmosphere ... Tuscany rural and sea style and delicious food !
