Ningbo (Chinese: 宁波; Mandarin pronunciation: [nǐŋ pwó] ( listen)), formerly written Ningpo, is a sub-provincial city in northeast Zhejiang province in China. It comprises the urban districts of Ningbo proper, three satellite cities, and a number of rural counties including islands in Hangzhou Bay and the East China Sea. Its port, spread across several locations, is among the busiest in the world and the municipality possesses a separate state-planning status. As of the 2010 census, the entire administrated area had a population of 7.6 million, with 3.5 million in the six urban districts of Ningbo proper. To the north, Hangzhou Bay separates Ningbo from Shanghai; to the east lies Zhoushan in the East China Sea; on the west and south, Ningbo borders Shaoxing and Taizhou respectively.

Deceiving for Italians (especially). Even the homemade pasta and food wasn't great. Overall I expected way more. The manager did us a discount because we complain about some stored food like the "porcini" mushroom, so that was nice of them. But overall, will not come back. Also, I have been told the chef is Italian... please control your staff more!

I have been here for about 3 weeks and was missing home cooking, Barolo was the place for me to go. I took out a small group of 9 from the local office and we all had a great meal with excellent service. I really missed this type of food and now I am very happy.I would like to thanks to you vist and sharing food experience on tripadvisor Im happy to know you had enjoyed dining at Barolo and recommend to others friend Looking forward to welcome back in the future SincerelyAmi hua -Manager

I have visited Marina a few times and each time it has been a truly wonderful experience! The highlights of eating here include the oyster and charcuterie selection, seafood and steak main dishes, fresh bread and sides (sun-dried tomatoes are my favourite), as well as the extensive wine cellar and, of course, the various types of beer hand-brewed by the head chef! I have also visited his brewery and can testify to the quality of his techniques and his final product! Marina is a MUST for any visitor of Ningbo, cannot recommend enough!

I was on a work trip to Ningbo and really missing some familiar food...it was a true delight to eat in this restaurant. the atmosphere was lovely and food was great. loved it and totally recommend.

Traveling from America to NINGBO on business. Went to Con Gusto with 7 people. They were great. Gave us a private room. So many great options. I had pasta and it was delicious. fois gras was too good, we added another plate. kids menu with fish and chips was succulent. goat cheese salad was well balanced. mussels cooked in cream and white wine was exactly what we were waiting for. pan fried soles, 2 bottles of wine, creamy butter, creme caramel are other things we ordered and none was disappointing. of course the delicious french fresh and chewy bread baskets were as good as the other dishes. 10 sur 10 ! too bad we forgot to take any picture as we were just so happy to eat !Thank you very much for your nice comment. It was a pleasure to have you as our guests yesterday evening.We are looking forward to welcoming you again at Le Resto :)

The last time we were here in January the place as busy and the food was very good. The surroundings were fine but this time the food was quite ordinary. We all had pasta that said on the menu it was home made. The Gnocchi was inedible so we sent it back. The Gnocchi was remade and still hard and floury . The sauce was fine but not the Gnocchi. The Bolognese flat pasta was also undercooked but barely edible with very little sauce. The starters were ok and the dessert ok but not the Cheesecake. It was nothing like Cheesecake it was hard and glueyThanks for your feedback,really sorry about the gnocchi,hope you will come to try the gnocchi again,we will provide the tasty and special gnocchi for you.And enjoy the trip in Ningbo.
