I'm always reluctant to introduce my favourites places because you always try to preserve beauty and quality. And such a good review as for the rare pearl Waikiki is not simple. Fantastic location. It is surrounded by nature and by the most beautiful sea of Salento. Excellent local dishes with a high value quality/price together with a good service. You will feel pampered from the very beginning by Chef Andrea. My advice is to try everything ... From appetizers so called sea/land to the first dishes (paccheri poured into pistachioâs sauce, my fav), fried fishes, main dishes, wines .... Absolutely fantastic. Even the bar and the typical italian music work fine so far. And when the time will come to pay the bill, it will feel like being in heaven.

During our one week stay in Racale, we ate here four times. For us it was ok because we could sit outside in nice garden with our kids. The first time we have been surprised because of self service and because we had to fill order form. Also that we had to clean everything at the end. But once we learnt it, it was easy As we have been tired and with kids was impossible to go somewhere in the evening, for us it was simple way to eat tasteful calamari, pommes and fish or pasta. The stuff was kind and friendly. Althought they donât speak English, it was easy and nice. If you one simple and daily fresh food without glamour, then go there. There are many people who simply go there after the beach time. What we donât like is use of plastic, but we realised that in whole region is massive use of plastic. What a pitty!

What a find! We discovered this place by chance when strolling the tiny little town of Taviano and were blown away! Very authentic, easy going and very heartful service and a food to die for. They just have a few items on the menu and two to three items of the day written on a chalk board - everything was soooo delicious. Make sure to call before to make sure you get a table as especially on the weekends it can be crowded. A lot of locals go there, which is always a good sign. One of our favourite places while in Puglia!

We arrived in Racale mid day, before the season and were surprised to find most places closed. Fortunately we found the great restaurant with delicious food, plenty of vegetables. Great service and great food.

Based on reviews of local eateries this was highly rated. We made reservations and were greeted quickly then seated outdoors. Our menus arrived quickly and we ordered water & wine. Starters were the marinated anchovies and salad. Mains were the mixed fried seafood platter. Amazing! Light and tasty with nice mix of fish. Finished with amaro & coffee. Delicious dinner, great service. Well deserved positive reviews.

My partner and I have had a great meal at this restaurant. The staff is courteous, the food delicious (shout out for the fancy presentation), but above all else, what won me was the inner garden. Yes, you dine in a orange tree garden. The place is magical to say the least. La Corte degli Aranci should be a must if you are visiting Gallipoli or the Salento area.

Came for dinner while in Mancaversa & chose this trattoria based on reviews. We were seated quickly since there were few patrons. We ordered the antipasto di mare & polpette di polpo to start. When they arrived we were disappointed with the size of the portion as well as the quality. They were just ok. We ordered the sepia grillate & Pesce spada with salad. The waitress came back that sepia was finished & to choose alternate, which was the calamari grillate. Service was quick, since there were few patrons and main arrived, taste was good. The salad was pitiful. We ordered bottle water & rosato house wine to drink. After dinner drinks were offered and 1 dessert pasticiotto Pugliese was ordered but presentation was poor. All in all just ok, but not worth the 70 euro bill.

Everything about this place is ok. I wouldn't recommend, but it's ok if you can't make it to one of the VERY good agriturismos nearby (try San Martino)... ;)

Found this cliff side restaurant after a very disappointing trek along several of the beaches from Galipoli south. We were looking for a quiet but clean and uncrowded spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a meal! Solatio is the perfect location with sea views and swimming access.The best part was the loungers were super comfortable and FREE! To the shock of us Canadians, other beaches charged up to 40 Euros to sit down and have a drink on a terribly dirty beach. The owner was welcoming and made us feel at home. We ordered drinks and lunch and then took advantage of the wonderful deck and swimming beside the grotto. A totally enjoyable afternoon. We didn't want to leave. :)

Dinner with 4 friends. Grilled prawns (â¬18) were served charred, sent back twice and were re-served scraped off and served cold. Not cooked properly. Staff did not know how to handle this properly, in addition: chips were only served after reminding staff and arrived half way through the meal, fried unevenly. Nice ambiance but quality food of food is not what may be a expected.
