Our last night in San Martino BA was a night of celebration in 2012. We played in a fantastic baseball tournament in San Martino BA. We had just won the tournament and we were all starving. Our newly made young friends suggested this pizzeria and we have not stopped going back. We had a group of 50 and they were able to accommodate all of us. The meals were reasonable and surely tasty. Since then we returned in 2013 and we are now planning our 2014 return. in 2014 we will just be passing through one of my favorite little towns in Italy - San Martino BA.

Every year we travelling around in Valpolicella to buy wine, and last week we visited Sapore! It was our third time and the pizza was fantastic and the service great me and friends can really recommend this great restaurang.Would it be possible to get the recipes so we can do the pizzas in our wood oven?Thank you!The recipes can be found in my book CHE PIZZA!

Very good food, small place 10 minutes from hills outside Verona and in a nice area near Adige river. The guys are great!

Il locale è accogliente e informale: frequentato da famiglie, gruppi di amici ma anche coppie. Noi siamo stati più volte e abbiamo assaggiato un poâ di tutto; il pesce è buono: consigliatissima la zuppetta di cannellini con piccoli calamari! La pizza é buona nellâimpatto e negli ingredienti; i primi ottimi sia di pesce che di carne. I dolci mediocri. Il punto debole è il personale di sala: nessuna delle due cameriere è una professionista (risposte improbabili, più attenzione allo sparecchio di tavoli vuoti che ai clienti in sala, poco informate sui piatti in menù, il âva tutto bene, signori?â chiesto con una frequenza esagerata purtroppo non copre la poca professionalità ) ma io sulla questione sono molto rigida! Prezzo equo. Fatevi offrire il liquore di finocchietto fatto in casa: divino!

This was one of our favourite meals of our recent honeymoon - we were staying in Verona, without a car but it was worth the 20min taxi to and from. We had a selection of antipasti, then Ravioli stuffed with risotto and my husband had risotto. The food was absolutely delicious and and ambience fantastic - we were welcomed and looked after by Guido who's wine recommendation was spot on and he had a lot of patience for us with our terrible Italian. It is absolutely not somewhere tourists go, but if you are in Verona or surrounding I highly recommend making the effort if you like high quality Italian food. Thank you so much for your kind words! We're really humbled by your compliments and we're happy that you'll cherish this experience among your honeymoon memories.We hope to meet you and your husband again. Arrivederci!

I'm not usual to do review, but this is the right time. I apologize for don't take a photo before the dessert. My first serving was dumpling garnish with duck... Sooooo amazing!!! And the second plate a typical Verona plate: "Lesso con Pearà ". This is absolutely the best place in Verona to eat that meat. I'll come back.PS. Also good wine ;)

Piccola perla del pranzo di lavoro; dimostrazione che si può mangiare bene rimanendo in un range di prezzo compatibile con chi è fuori a pranzo 20 giorni al mese senza rimborso.I piatti sono tutti curati e genuini.Il menù è ovviamente contenuto con 2/3 primi ed altrettanti secondi.Oggi: antipastino offerto dalla casa, maccheroncini artigianali con ragù bianco di arrosto; secondo polpette al sugo fresco con verdure.Acqua e caffè.Spesa 12 euro (non hanno bancomat)Ps: locale e servizi impeccabili

We were sent by our B&B to this restaurant. We wanted to try the typical plate from this region, the "risotto".Super particular place, decorated with passion for "vintage", really nice garden where you can eat outside with jazz musique for a relaxing dîner. Really good prices if we compare to the meals we had in the city center. Nice and welcoming waiters who spoke a good English. We had no problem explaining our health problem. We will surely go back if we are in the area again. Thumbs up!!!
