Today we went to this lovely restaurant in Brescello. The salami & cheese platter was outstanding. The pasta was delicious and the wine was cold..Extra friendly staff to help, and even in this small town there was someone who spoke English. This is a place to sit and enjoy your food, visit with friends and enjoy life!

Abbiamo cenato sfruttando un buono groupon : abbiamo mangiato molto bene e con porzioni generosissime. Buono sia il vino compreso che la malvasia che abbiamo preso in aggiunta.Gentilissima la signora che ci ha servito ! Si mangia solo all' interno ( almeno in questo periodo ) che non è male vista la calura esterna, però sarebbe stato bello stare all'esterno a vedere le stelle cadenti.

I've visited the restaurant many times when in Italy, even though the restaurant is not located in a sea town it still offers a prime selection of fresh fish and seafood. I would suggest to start with the selection of anchovies as starter.

Tigelle croccanti (anche integrali), gnocco leggero e cortesia sono il punto di forza di questo effervescente locale Viadanese. Tutto si sposa in modo armonioso... salumi, salse e nutella vanno a farcire i prodotti serviti. Inoltre stuzzichini vari (mozzarelle e polenta fritte) accompagnano e assecondano le voglie dei commensali. Il conto è PIà che onesto!!!A mio parere qualitativamente ha superato Mori & Ballabeni.

Abbiamo fatto qui una cena aziendale ed è stata unâottima esperienza.Gnocco fritto caldo come antipasto, una decina di tipi di tortelli tutti fatti rigorosamente a mano (spettacolari), secondi da favola accompagnati da una stupenda polentina morbida.Tra i miei piatti preferiti i tortelli allâanatra e il guanciale al forno. Ci tornerò di sicuro appena possibile.

You must be very careful what seems as first ok impression with gentle,smiling owners,few spartan tables,simplicity that you may look for..all to catch poor tourists..a sort of take away serving local food on disposable WITH NO TOILET IN!Quality of food ok..the funny thing aboit it all is the PRICE!..as first there is no menu available,of course!not even a sign of prices..!..little space,not even perfectly clean ..the greatest surprise you can get at the end of this little theatre..prices like in the centre of 5star Milan restaurant!!!!!...Well..poor you owners trying to FREGARE (cheat on people)..you may once,but never again!!enjoy your silly approach nd hope my feedback can help somebody to avoid to be taken for fool...GO TO OTHER PLACES NEARBY where you can get a real Italian,good quality,,and most of all HONEST service!I DO NOT RECCOMEND IT!!simply ridiculousWe are sorry to hear your poor experience, we would like to let you know that the ownership has been changed, and the shop has been renewed, we will be pleased to host you

Good restaurant near Po river in northern Italy. You can taste many kinds of Italian Tortelli: pumpkin tortelli, green (with spinach), and a good choice of meats. You can find special salami, parma ham, italian cheese. Good choice of wine.

Bel localino nei pressi della piazza principale di Brescello. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, antipasti di salumi e degli strozzapreti al culatello. Per finire il semifreddo al liquore strega. Tutto veramente ottimo. L'unica cosa che mi viene da suggerire è di servire i salumi con del gnocco fritto o qualcosa di similare invece del pane. Servizio eccellente. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

After visiting the whole town which was the film location of most Don Camillo movies, we decided to have lunch here, almost the only restaurant we found open because the others were mainly sandwich bars and cafeterias.The place is evoked to Don Camillo (the hotheaded priest character created by Guareschi, an Italian journalist) all walls were almost tapestried of photos of the actors during the filming days plus posters, some authographed and some other not Don Camillo related bric-a-brac.We had a plate of sliced cured meats with savory snacks which was OK; homemade pumpkin raviolis were OK too; a homemade cooked guineafowl which was very dry, a little bit of sauce would make it palatable⦠Service very friendly and welcoming.A very good place as trattoria ambiance and service if not having top gastronomical demandings.

Very good restaurant in downtown Viadana (northern Italy, Po river). Everything is home-made. Wonderful Tortelli di zucca (Pumpkin Tortelli), a very good choice of second serves and desserts.Don't miss!
