Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and lovely staff!! If you are in the area this place is great!! I would definately go back!! They had an incredible home made tiramisu! Fresh hot bread served with the dinner just melted in your mouth!

Un'esperienza piacevolissima: una cena lenta e raffinata, in cui ci si sente coccolati dal primo all'ultimo momento, con un servizio veramente di alto livello.La cucina è particolare, abbiamo apprezzato molto alcuni piatti e meno altri, ma sicuramente per la qualità e la ricerca dietro ogni piatto merita il massimo dei voti! Una menzione speciale al pane artigianale (grissini e pane di varie tipologie, serviti con un burro aromatizzato al peperone), senza dubbio il più buono mai mangiato in un ristorante!Conto non eccessivo visto il livello proposto. Assolutamente consigliato!

Con un gruppo di amici decidiamo una visita domenicale a Soncino e per la pausa pranzo prenotiamo già dal venerdì presso questa struttura. Accoglienza adeguata in azienda agricola che, nel corso del week end, effettua servizio di ristorazione in un locale predisposto. Veniamo fatti accomodare al tavolo, dove troviamo già a disposizione vassoio di affettati misti con salse e crostini oltre ad acqua e vino della casa. Non esiste il menù, ma i piatti sono quelli organizzati dalla cucina per il giorno: noi abbiamo avuto assaggio di riso con rosmarino e formaggio di capra, assaggio di "casunsei" e per secondo ci è stata offerta l'alterinativa tra lesso con cotechino oppure porchetta; abbiamo optato per la seconda che è stata servita con polenta e foglia verde non ben definita. Come dessert ci è stata proposta torta di mele e a chiusura caffè. Euro 25 a persona.Osservazioni:d'accordo sul fatto che la professione esercitata prevalente non è la ristorazione ma, facilitati dal menu' unico e dal servire contemporaneamente tutti i commensali, occorre migliorare la qualità delle portate (al limite della sufficenza) ed invitare al sorriso il ragazzo che serve ai tavoli.

Great service, nice wine selection, amazing home baked bread...good food :) to be honest I was expecting something better from how the place looks like, that is why I can not put very good or excellent, but it was ok. Bean soup was good, tortellini this time not really my taste. I am a big fan of fish, but this river one, again, was not my taste.

This is a true old farm, and their dishes are made with ingredients produced right there on the farm. They make their own wine and liquor, grow their own vegetables, raise their own animals, all of which you can see as you wander around. And it's all prepared and served by Francesca in their house. It does not feel like a restaurant at all, but like you are someone's guests eating a home-cooked meal in their house. I loved the casoncelli and the fresh figs with prosciutto.

We found this restaurant by chance, while walking to the castle, and we couldn't choose anything better! Amazing place, warm and really cozy, excellent food and fantastic level of service. Waiters are amazing and the owner funny and pleasant.Look forward to going back to such a nice place during our next trip to Italy!!!

We enjoyed our visit to this restaurant very much. The staff was quick, neat and very attentive. The meal was fresh, offering a variety of regional, contemporary italian food. The restaurant itself resembles clssic Italian style, without being overdone. We want to point out the marvellous dessert, and the nice ambience. Definietely to put on the list of extraordinary places, be sure to give it a go when you are in Soncino to visit the Rocca Sforzesca (Lomardy, near Brescia).

Recommended to me by locals of Sonscino (about 1 hr drive from Milan) for lunch while on a business trip there. Food was very tasty with great service, in a "homey" atmosphere. Tenderloin very deliciously spiced and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

The Molino San Giuseppe is in a rustic old mill dating back to the 13th century with a view of the medieval castle. The restaurant itself is very clean and nicely decorated.The service is impeccable and the food is high quality. They serve an antipasta "plate" for 2 or more visitors that is to"die for". My first dish was also excellent the main course was a little less exciting.
