I spent the last night of my holiday at Arcani. Met all the delightful staff - Rodriguez and Alessi-and sat in the most exquisite dining room. Intimate and cosy but not cramped. The choice of fish meals is very wide and I canât remember the names of the various delicious courses because I may have had a second glass of wonderful white Piemonte wine! The service was personal and attentive and even included a free antipasti! Thank you guys for a super ending to my holiday â¤ï¸Good evening! Thank you for the review! This lovely little place might be out of the common tourist routes but that makes it all the more interesting. The cosy atmosphere, hospitable people and excellent food made of best local ingredients are certainly worth a short trip outside the city center. The restaurant's interior is vintage and once we started eating it was clear the food was vintage too. The chef explained he collected the old recipes from his and his friends' grandmas because he wanted to promote the traditional Ligurian cuisine with a contemporary twist. The set of antipasti seemed never-ending and each one was better than the previous. The pansoti with salsa di noci were absolutely superb and so was the risotto ai frutti di mare. Afterwards came a dish of delightfully crispy mix of fried fish and seafood. The house wine was good and tiramisu so look delicious. The service was efficient but very friendly. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience.

The food is amazing!Big portions, great taste!They always cook the same dishes but they are great. Multimple apetizers, 2-3 pasta dishes and several meat meals!

We went for a hike and found this lovely place in the mountains far from the med. The management opened the restaurant so we could rest and treated us very kindly.Bellissimo dopo montagna lungo a piedi dal mare. Gentilmente aperto proprietari.

This restaurant in Genoa's suburbs is a great surprise! Very good food, wine and service.We had excellent seafood and mushrooms too. Dessers are delicious as well.The atmosphere is informal but very pleasant.It is definitely worth a visit!

This is a restaurant around 30-40 minutes outside Genoa. If you arrive in the evening there is nothing much to see. The food comes as multiple small courses. It is not the top Italian food you will ever eat but it is perfectly acceptable home style cooking.

I know this restaurant since more than 10 years and I definitely recommend it to all lovers of fresh sea food, cooked with professional care in a homy atmosphere.Pros:1. Sea food freshness: the cook/owner is in business since 50 years and he knows how to select, cook and serve the best catch of the day. 2. Meal quality, quantity and appearance: meals are abundant, made of best ingredients and with the classy touch of the professional.3. Restaurant atmosphere: homy/family rather than poshy, owners often come to your table checking if all is OK.4, Service: good, attentive but not oppressive. During last dinner there was one single waiter and we waited for a few minutes between courses, but nothing annoying.5. Quality consistence: we tried the entire menu over the years and the same quality was always there. You can't get something wrong here.6. Cleanliness: kitchen is just immaculate, owner invites you to check. Cons:1. Location: out of town centre, you have to drive 20 min up a typically Genoese narrow, overparked street; parking is not always available inside or close to the restaurant.Price is fair: we spent 115 ⬠for 2 x 3 course meals, including one bottle of decent Pigato @ 15 ⬠i.e 50 ⬠without drinks. Veniamo spesso al sabato durante la pausa pranzo con i colleghi. Ci siamo sempre trovati molto bene! Osteria molto carina, tipica. Personale sempre gentile e cortese. Buone le porzioni e buono il conto. Primo secondo dolce caffè acqua...16 euro circa!!!Consiglio di prenotare perché sempre pieno.
