My family stopped in for dinner on a Sunday night. Come here for feeling like your Nonna is making dinner. Itâs all family style and there is no menu. Amazing. The salumi was some of the best Iâve ever had followed by perfect antipasti of bread, peperonata, arancini, beans and greens, eggplant and zucchini for the full antipasti. You could stop there but we proceeded with primi of local pastas. Ravioli with meat, scrigili with pomodoro and guancale, and a third with funghi that will take your breath away. We could have stopped there but we tried the porchetta which was amazing as well. Everything was perfect. Best food on this trip and some of the best Iâve ever had. Anywhere. Have the house wine, itâs just perfect with the food. The staff was very kind and helpful and made our evening perfect. Thanks so much!!!

Beautifully decorated restaurant with a substantial menu, not just pizzas. Seafood starter was amazing, then we had a beautiful swordfish pasta dish and a delicious pizza straight out of the wood fired oven. Local wine was very tasty. Young, English speaking waiter was very helpful and provided us with information about local Easter processions. They are closed Wednesday nights but open every other one. Thank you for a lovely night! Thank for your review. We are really happy to have hosted you.

Badolato is a small town, not far from the sea, in Calabria, Italy. The food in this restaurant was very good, and the owner was very friendly. This is a restaurant where you will find real Calabrian food at reasonable prices, a few steps from the central piazza of the town. Both the antipasto and the home-made pasta were excellent, as was the eggplant parmigiana. If you visit Badolato, this is a great place to eat!

In the cosy old village of Sant'Andrea dello jonio is the small pizzaria Tre Fontane. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food even better. The locals enjoy their pizzas as well - which must underline the quality of the handmade and tasty pizzas. The super-friendly chef and his lovely wife always welcomes you warmly. We have visited A LOT of pizzerias and restaurants during our years in Calabria - this is by far the best. If you really want to try the world's best pizza - this is the place to go.

We live close by and do take out once a week. We have ordered full meals, steak, pasta w lobster as well as pizza. We have never been dissappointed and will continue to do take out. We have not eaten in, but it seems like a beautiful place as they are a reception hall and host many weddings. The menu isn't typical which is a nice change of pace. Would reccomend for both a full meal as well as a pizza. The staff is always helpful and cook always present. If you haven't eaten here try it, you will not be dissapointed.

The outside of the house is quite fascinating to view and Franco has worked creatively to make it an interesting experience. We stayed a couple of nights on our first visit and have returned over the years to visit. Emma is an excellent chef and the Calabrian meal we had was very tasty and probably our favourite. They are a lovely couple who always make us feel very welcome.

We were looking for a restaurant in Umbertide and found Pizzeria Habanero. The restaurant is located in the basement, and has a great rustic interior. When we came the restaurant was empty, but we decided to eat ther anyway. The staff was very friendly. The pizzas were pretty good, and the price was very reasonable. I can definitely recommend the restaurant if you are looking for pizza.

A welcome addition to Badolato is this bar / cafe on the main street of the old village. Fresh made (really fresh) snacks and smoothies. Wine and beer in a more artisanal style. Great for breakfast and late night relaxation.

We were excited to try out this "top- rated Trip Advisor" restaurant! Our appetizers were good although we ordered arrancini and got croquettes? Luckily one of us spoke Italian but something got lost in translation. Our mains were good ( not spectacular as expected) and one of the dishes came after we were all finished ours. It was a pizza which was probably the best dish. Service was slow and we got some attitude when we asked about the late pizza? Maybe it was a long summer but shouldn't be an excuse.
